@disclosetv Grandpa Joe, if the war drags on for years, may the oil companies STILL not buy back stock? Are you aware of the many years when they have had no profits?
A simple solution to the #AbortionDebate: #LetWomenControlVasectomy HE:"what's that loud knock on the door?"
SHE: "You refused to use a condom last night. It's the Vasectomy Squad! Now take it like a MAN!"
Eric, is the short-term return of capital outlook better for US or Canada oil companies? Was republican takeover of Congress seen by attendees as likely? As causing the keystone pipeline to be approved?
Fortunate and humbled to be sharing ideas and talking all things energy with industry titans at the terrific Raymond James Energy Conference in Aspen. Uniformly bullish views on US shale discipline and overall supply challenges. Near-term demand outlook more heavily debated.
Despite a constant bombardment of daily "recession" headlines, we see no erosion in our multi-year bull market thesis. Valuations are the lowest we have ever seen, FCF builds every day, and the commitment of companies to return it back to shareholders remains steadfast.
There are times when the financial demand for oil implodes while the physical demand for oil remains strong. This is one of those times. Tune out the noise: the market remains undersupplied, SPR ends in 3 months, China will unlock one day, & OPEC spare capacity exhaustion cometh.
New episode:
"We’re getting a diversity of genders, sexualities, and cultures asking questions from different perspectives. That’s going to make us understand the animal kingdom so much better and therefore understand ourselves better."

Joe Biden has made vindicating democracy his core objective
his leadership has helped prevent authoritarian Russia from overrunning Ukraine
but at home he's in danger of getting overrun by Republicans indifferent or hostile to democracy
