Say it again for the people in the back. Y’all trying to tell meteorologists they don’t know what they’re talking about is reminding me of when yall was arguing with doctors, nurses, and virologists during the pandemic.
@wxbrad You mentioned the sleet vs. freezing rain vertical profiles when interpreting model data. Do you recommend any resources that visualize this data that allows for more of a 3D view vs. the traditional 2D maps?
We know what time it is, @dukesmayobowl! 👀
Skip the traffic and score a ride to tonight’s game! Brooklyn Village Station gets you to @BofAStadium with zero mayo dumps required. 🏈😉
Back in my day when you saved a document it would go a main folder called documents and you knew where it was because it was in the folder called documents
@chorio_actis 4. One more thing. I’d focus on catering to your needs first to help with getting burned out and overstimulated. Doing that will help you know yourself more and become able to do/manage things like responding better :)
@chorio_actis 1. Talked with my therapist recently about the same thing. And she thinks it might be a form of ironic self sabotage. Fear of disappointing people and then actually disappointing people by not responding… That and I let myself get overstimulated by the world around me
@chorio_actis 3. Acknowledging your struggle with it is a huge step. And for me it takes work and time to remember these things, but keep patient with your mind. Our minds are capable of so many beautiful things :) even if we process things differently. I hope this helps, and you got this!!
@chorio_actis 2. By getting overstimulated I feel more anxious about responding. To the point where I can’t even think of a reply if I tried. So I’m trying to practice setting aside time to move around (somatic something) to reset my adhd and feel more relaxed. Then return to the task at hand
Using meteorological records, @NWSMarquette, @NWSCLE, & GLERL scientists modeled the weather conditions & wave heights that caused the tragic #EdmundFitzgerald wreck. At the height of the storm, modeled waves peaked around 25.5 ft (7.8 m).
