@tonykellywriter I hope Zemeckis will be remembered as one of the more Avantgarde Hollywood content makers in the same way as Altman. He doesn't always hit the mark, but when he does his lo-fi mastery of the metaphysical and the spiritual always pays off

@tonykellywriter This film has a permanent position in my top five. The way it managed to balance science vs religion without falling judgementally on either side; exquisite casting and pace; allowing the audience to justify hope for one moment. Absolute masterpiece.
