@Nordro1d @LtCameron88 There's a balance there that honestly neither studio hit. Bungie ignored book lore when it suited them, and 343i was too reliant on the fanbase knowing booklore for some plot beats to make sense haha

There is a happy medium there that is what truly makes that universe shine.

@Nordro1d @LtCameron88 I think the difference there was that they wanted those authors to write certain stories for the sake of game plot development. I like 343i's approach better, to a point. Though leaving needed lore only in books was a bad call. Halo 5 suffered more for it.

But declaring 343i as carrying Halo as Bungie intended is a weak stance.
