@LukeGromen@DrJStrategy Iranians are gaslighting Trump. Trump is gaslighting Americans. FOX is doing their best to make it all sound like the truth. If Soviet Union had FOX running propaganda instead of Pravda there would still be a wall in Berlin.
@JoshYoung Talk is cheap/free. Risk premium, supply chain friction, damage to infrastructure and depleted product throughout the system all justify higher price - even without accounting for lower production from region.
@HaniefHaider1@citrinowicz@FT Is there ever any evidence of Trump admitting he made a mistake.
Compare Jimmy Carter to this man.

@Glenn_Diesen Trump’s mouth is really just a random word generator. He doesn’t think about what he says and doesn’t care if it makes sense. Just likes to hear himself talk. He thinks everyone likes to listen and is awesome by his brilliance.
@AntiquarianMuse He is building Fort Trump (ballroom/bunker) so no one can make him leave. Got kicked out once, but not again. Cabinet will support him. Johnson will support him. FOX/Pravda will shill for him. Generals who don’t support him are being fired. ICE will support him.
@aeberman12@Rory_Johnston Iranians could probably tell everyone how many ships are passing through since it is highly likely they are charging tolls for safe passage.
@rcwhalen@paulkrugman WWII level debt that commenced before Iran was attacked. Of course market goes up. That’s lot of stimulus but it is a lot of debt that will need to be covered. That’s Future US problem. For now President gets to claim market gains as win.
@TrumpsPortfolio Financial rules were not written to address the industrial strength grift engaged in by DJT. They were written for normal people who only cheated a little. Legislators did not see what was coming in Trump. Seems like voters should have seen it.
@KobeissiLetter And this is the reason that every other president in recent history put all assets in blind trust - not accounts one phone call away managed by sons.
@robin_j_brooks Long end rising makes perfect sense when you ask yourself - what rate would I require to loan to US gov for 10 to 30 years. For me the answer is 7% for 10 and well north of that for 30. Just saying. That’s just me
@TreasuryBonds1 The problem with parabolic curves is they don’t get better with time. They get worse at faster rate.
With all the short term notes turning each month there is no tolerance for issue causing buyers to stay home or come up short. Would cause massive spike and intervention.
@MPelletierCIO@MarkJCarney So refreshing to hear Carney speak. We (US) have a president who is also by-lingual. He speaks some English and fluent in child-like gibberish.
@Megatron_ron Listening to Carney speak is so refreshing compared to incoherent babbling that comes from Trump’s mouth. It is like adult versus child. We have “almost” gotten used to listening to the stupidity we hear every day.
@Mylovanov@RadioFreeTom Hegseth and Donald Trump are hollowing out US military. Will be left with Yes men whose sole requirements have nothing to do with fortitude or skill. Just have to say yes to Trump no matter what. Even if he says he is staying in office beyond 2028. Trump learned lesson from 2020.
