Arlington National Cemetery started as revenge on Robert E. Lee? 🇺🇸

High on the hills overlooking Washington, D.C., stands Arlington House — the grand mansion once home to Confederate General Robert E. Lee and his wife Mary Anna Custis Lee.

Built between 1802–1818 by George Washington’s step-grandson as a living memorial to America’s first president, it was filled with Washington family heirlooms and became the place the Lees called home for nearly 30 years.

When Lee resigned from the U.S. Army in 1861 to join the Confederacy, Union forces quickly seized the strategically vital property. Then, in 1864, as Civil War casualties mounted, officials made a pointed decision: they began burying fallen Union soldiers right on Lee’s estate — some graves deliberately placed near the mansion so the family could never comfortably return.

What began as wartime necessity and symbolism evolved into something far greater. Today, Arlington National Cemetery is hallowed ground for over 400,000 American service members and their families — a place of honor, sacrifice, and national remembrance.

From a private plantation tied to Washington and Lee, to America’s most sacred military cemetery. History has a way of transforming places in ways no one could have imagined.

* It was you who appointed your chief adviser, Valerie Jarrett, an Iranian, who is a member of the Muslim Sisterhood, an off-shoot of the Muslim Brotherhood.

Dakota Gas has switched from making DEF to making granular urea at 46% nitrogen at their Great Plains Synfuels Plant near Beulah, North Dakota.

Capacity is 1,100 short tons per day.

Maybe we can just stop with the DEF altogether……… sure burning fertilizer in fuel is cool but having food is a fuck of a lot cooler.

The USA burns enough DEF in diesel engines per year to cover all of Canada’s farming fertilizer needs.
