@SciGuySpace Agreed with Eric, NASA saying something along the lines of January 2026 is meaningless. This program has a history of unrealistic timelines, and shoddy workmanship.
@BGLordofthechat@SciGuySpace And what boosters will it fly on? There are only six more Atlas rockets assigned to CST-100 missions. Vulcan is not human rated. Neither is any U.S. commercial rocket coming online in the next three years. Boeing would have to fly cargo and crew missions.
Marc Garneau was a rare politician. He came to the House of Commons as a Canadian space hero and never deviated from setting an example of competence, non-partisanship and exemplary leadership. On a personal level, he was warm, engaging and unusually down to earth. We have lost an inspiring, insightful and compassionate Canadian.
@ConsumerSOS Genuine surprised you were old enough to interview him. You probably caught him a year before he died. Odd that he lived in a bungalow near the Queensway and Dixie in Mississauga.
@dpoddolphinpro@blueorigin After the first scrub, I won't wait around. I'll watch it in the morning if it happens. If weather was 70 percent Go, I'd stay awake and watch it live.

Today, a report revealed that Doug Ford’s plan for a private spa at Ontario Place, and to rip the Science Centre out of Flemingdon Park, will lead to even more traffic chaos on Toronto’s waterfront. If Ford calls a snap election, let’s take a stand and fight for our city.
I recently spoke with outgoing NASA Administrator Bill Nelson about the future of Artemis, the selection of Starship HLS just before he was sworn in, and his relationship with Elon Musk.
