@ryanphanna@abctoronto_@integrity_to People who complain that bike lanes are under used likely base it on a single observation. You could say the same for any street or sidewalk. During Covid and psycho on Angleton without a single vehicle in sight. Not one.
@francesca_kms@MikeyCycling It’s not rocket science, and clearly needs a knee-high wall to separate the bike lane from traffic. Look at it an example in Vancouver, BC.
@cityoftoronto It justifies me why we often have litter and recycling bins, located some distance away from transit shelters, where the majority of garbage ends up on the ground!
@observinthecity More meaningful would be a count of the number of cyclists and motor vehicles over time. We need bicycle counters all over the city, proving to everyone just how busy and well used (or not) these bike lanes are!
