It was when those companies went under and I didn’t qualify for any assistance. Nothing, and continuously given numerous reasons as to why I didn’t deserve assistance.

That is providing a service upfront with compensation including tuition assistance. That’s part of the contract signed for risking one’s life for their country.

That’s different than paying someone’s loan that they chose to take out. Why not give the rest of the population $10k to pay what they choose with it?
