@AlexNeilSNP Alex you’re not doing yourself a service sir, your sounding very bitter.. as has already been said you know the budgetary pressures coming from Westminster yet write it’s our Governments fault.
Yesterday I had the privilege of meeting @CAG_Asbestos and @asbestos_action in the Scottish Parliament.
I also took part in the debate brought by my colleague @MarieAMcNair on Action Mesothelioma Day 2026.

Last week I had the opportunity to show my support for @SAMHtweets Little Pink Dot challenge.
The challenge encourages individuals to display a visible pink dot as a sign that you will be there for those struggling with their Mental Health.
Thanks to Knightswood Community Centre for the invite to the official opening of the community garden.
Excellent work from staff and volunteers to deliver a welcoming space for the whole community.
Junior ministers now being appointed- first in is new Shetland MSP Hannah Mary Goodlad. Never been in politics before now straight into govt. She resigned her job with oil firm Equinor the day she was elected.
Ming Yang wanted this factory in Scotland, but Westminster blocked the £1.5bn investment. Now the jobs are going to Spain.
Scotland has watched opportunity after opportunity go elsewhere because of Westminster. It’s time we go our own way. 🏴

On Monday I had the honour of being elected the leader of the SNP group on @GlasgowCC. Being elected to lead your political family is an honour beyond words. In September I will be the SNP candidate to succeed Susan Aitken as Council Leader when she steps down. I am very humbled.
Teams have been out across Glasgow Anniesland all day campaigning for an @theSNP win. We do it all again tomorrow, taking nothing for granted.
