@VladVexler I listen to all your content and am often wondering about what a full prescription from you would be for all of it. All our politics. What should we aspire to practice? How should it all work? How can we avoid the democratic decline you often describe? Especially wrt the future.
Unfortunately, early this morning, my brother died after battling kidney cancer. He was an incredibly talented musician. I've got a link in the 1st comment to one of my favourite recordings I made of him performing (forgive my weird comment at the end he was brilliant).
I will miss him more than words can express. I want to thank those of you who shared his journey with him, and would love to hear things about your time with him to know more of his story. Rest in peace my brother, I will carry your spirit with me forever.
He was not only an amazing guitarist but also my closest longest friend. We knew each other deeply, studied together, worked together, and shared countless adventures. His intelligence, humour, and unconventional way of thinking made every moment with him special.
Made it my life’s mission to become the Taliban’s worst nightmare:
A highly educated Afghan woman.
First, Columbia University at the top of my class, and now Oxford University.
Give Afghan girls one chance and see what they can achieve.
@oezguercelebi@ben_baybay Sensor systems and the associated processing like object recognition. Often this is computer vision stuff but could be unified sensor arrays.
