🔥 First real sensibility I've heard - frontier labs should be held accountable perhaps even more so than they have been so as stop the charading which gives way to idiots suggesting dumb things that spreads FUD 💪🏻
@alojoh@HesterJohn FSD will become commoditised but Tesla are still significantly ahead in the cost efficient vehicles providing that ability plus FSD market isn't a zero sum and will grow (cost decrease = market increase) - lots of space for competitors
Prof G suffers from severe EDS which completely blinds his perspective mostly bright on through his odd association with the horrid Swisher EDS suffering queen
🤣🤣🤣
Want to remember how wrong @profgalloway these past eight years on Tesla?
2018
July 2018 — “wildly overvalued”; a 50% drop would start to look cheap on auto metrics.
TSLA then (always split adjusted): ~$20.
September 2018 — stock would fall further; Tesla acquired; Musk possibly barred as officer/director.
TSLA then: ~$18.
2019
May 2019 — “year Tesla comes undone”; below $100 within 12 months (that $100 ≈ $6.67 today) and likely acquired.
TSLA then: ~$12–16 (May close ~$12.30).
October 2019 — lose 80% of value or disappear.
TSLA then: ~$21.
Late October 2019 — “I was wrong on Tesla!”
TSLA then: still ~$21.
2020–2021
Called it a story stock / tulip analog; admitted he’d been spectacularly wrong earlier.
TSLA through 2020: ~$28 → ~$235 (year-end).
2021 year-end: ~$352.
Annual “cut in half” calls
Late 2022, for 2023: record sales and cut in half again. TSLA then: ~$123. (It did not; 2023 close ~$248.)
Outrage in Germany after it became public that a Syrian migrant with 3 wives, 32 children and 25 grandchildren, with 70% of the entire family having a criminal record, receives €100,000 a year in welfare.
Someone gave the leading AI models the Political Compass test.
Grok 4.5 landed by far closest to the political center.
Every model from Anthropic, Google, Meta, OpenAI, Deepseek, and others clustered far to the left.
This is why building a maximally truth-seeking AI matters.
