Want to remember how wrong @profgalloway these past eight years on Tesla?

2018

July 2018 — “wildly overvalued”; a 50% drop would start to look cheap on auto metrics.
TSLA then (always split adjusted): ~$20.

September 2018 — stock would fall further; Tesla acquired; Musk possibly barred as officer/director.
TSLA then: ~$18.

2019

May 2019 — “year Tesla comes undone”; below $100 within 12 months (that $100 ≈ $6.67 today) and likely acquired.
TSLA then: ~$12–16 (May close ~$12.30).

October 2019 — lose 80% of value or disappear.
TSLA then: ~$21.

Late October 2019 — “I was wrong on Tesla!”
TSLA then: still ~$21.

2020–2021

Called it a story stock / tulip analog; admitted he’d been spectacularly wrong earlier.
TSLA through 2020: ~$28 → ~$235 (year-end).
2021 year-end: ~$352.

Annual “cut in half” calls

Late 2022, for 2023: record sales and cut in half again. TSLA then: ~$123. (It did not; 2023 close ~$248.)
