Together, the combined population of OBCs and EBCs makes up 63.13% of the state's total population.

When combined with SCs and STs, backward and marginalized communities account for roughly 84.46% of Bihar's overall populace.

During the 1962 Sino-Indian War, local Assamese women and indigenous women from the North-East Frontier Agency (NEFA, now Arunachal Pradesh) mobilized as a resolute civil defense shield by undergoing rifle training, managing supply lines, and supporting Indian troops in Tezpur and the border regions.

Ordinary women and volunteers refused to remain passive when the Chinese People's Liberation Army advanced toward the Brahmaputra plains.

Wives of Assam Rifles soldiers and young women dressed in traditional mekhela chadors or sarees participated in intensive firearm and rifle drills in Tezpur, Assam.

Women managed vital frontline supply chains across rugged, difficult mountain passes.

They offered critical logistical and medical assistance to Indian infantry units.

They stood ready to face advancing forces until a unilateral Chinese ceasefire was declared on November 21, 1962.

The Battle of Walong (October 22 – November 16, 1962) was a legendary confrontation fought during the Sino-Indian War at the easternmost tip of Arunachal Pradesh.

It is etched in Indian military history as the only sector where the Indian Army launched an offensive counterattack against invading Chinese forces during the entire 1962 conflict.

How India saved Arunachal?

Walong was a crucial frontier town near the tri-junction of India, China, and Myanmar.

It housed the region's only advanced landing ground and was a vital supply artery for remote border posts.

Approximately 2,500 Indian soldiers from the 11th Infantry Brigade faced a massive influx of nearly 15,000 Chinese troops from the PLA's 130th Division.

Initial clashes began at Kibithoo.
Indian units including the 6th Kumaon, 4th Sikhs, and 3/3 Gorkha Rifles staged multiple ambushes (such as the one at Namti Nallah) to stall the initial wave.

Chinese forces occupied dominant, high-altitude features known as Green Pimple and Yellow Pimple.

In a daring display of grit, the 6th Kumaon launched a steep uphill counterattack at 13,250 feet without any aerial or artillery support.

They engaged in brutal, hand-to-hand combat to dislodge the enemy.

Heavily outgunned and running entirely out of ammunition, units like the 4th Dogra fought a tenacious rearguard action.

Fierce resistance by soldiers like Subedar Rattan Chand and Lieutenant GS Subba held off the PLA, preventing total encirclement and allowing about 1,800 Indian personnel to safely withdraw down the Lohit Valley.

Though the battle ended in a tactical withdrawal after supply lines were completely severed, it inflicted severe casualties on the Chinese forces and halted their rapid advance into the Brahmaputra plains.

A tribute to their absolute resilience was published by TIME Magazine, stating

"At Walong, Indian troops lacked everything.

The only thing they did not lack was guts." Today, the Walong War Memorial stands next to the Lohit River to honor the final stand of these heroes.

सातवी सदी मे सिंध पर मुहम्मद बिन कासिम के हमले के बाद, इसी के पर्शियन पुर्वज भारत मे शिया इस्लाम लेकर आये थे.

इन्होनें यहा ���े खासकर उत्तर भारत के लोगों को कभी आक्रमण कर मुस्लिम बनाया, तो कभी सुफी पंथ के नाम पर मुर्ख बनाकर मुस्लिम बनाया.

इसिलिये, उत्तर भारत के सभी समाजों मे पर्शियन भाषा, और पर्शियन संस्कृती की गहरी छाप देखी जा सकती है.

1947 मे भारत तोडने मे भी यही लोग सबसे आगे थे.

मुहम्मद अली जिन्नाह के बाप दादा भी पर्शियन लोहाना हिंदु ही थे.

बाद मे इस्लाम स्विकारने के बाद मुहम्मद अली जिन्नाह पर्शियन शिया बन गया.

भारत को तोडने मे भी यही आगाखानी, अहमदी कादयानी मुसलमान लोग सबसे आगे थे.
