@RishiSunak You're the man!
I know there's mixed feelings about the budget. But from my perspective he's delivered on what he promised and for that I am grateful.
@Skinnersbrewery Wishing you all the best. I'll pledge 3x 9Gallons when we can reopen and ale sales pick up. (Its not much) . I remember my first pint of Betty Stogs at an ale festival in London, one of the reasons I started to love ale.
Raising a glass to you from Oxford. 🍻

Please let this be true.
The atmosphere in pubs and pub gardens will be incredible.
Will never forget 2018 in Kingston Upon Thames. The weather was banging the pubs were heaving and it was okay to drink at 11:00(early kickoff). Pubs haven't been the same since!

Let me put this in simple terms, opening outside, no. Restricted inside? Optimum selling time on Cask Ale three days? Keg seven days? Limited seating in pub and all bills to pay, doesn’t work. It’s simple.@RogerProtzBeer@oldmudgie@jenatbootinn@artichokebistro @CellarChester
On industry call this morning, someone insightfully said rather than a reopening roadmap yesterday, as far as pubs are concerned, it was announcing a further four months of lockdown. This is why hospitality needs a support package at least equal to that for same period last year.
BREAKING: Judge Pearce AGREES we DO have a case in the High Court
It is arguable that a meal with alcohol IS NOT necessary
It is also arguable that closing pubs that don't serve food discriminates sectors of our society
We have been given a 2 day trial. Date pending
GAME ON
Hey @BorisJohnson how about letting pubs & social clubs sell takeaway beer again? Prior to Lockdown 3 we used to run a click & collect service. What's the issue with that? It might just keep us, breweries & suppliers in business. You will need our tax revenue one day
