@Geezy2k19@GoodmanHoops If a GM really thinks a prospect can be one of the best players in the league, he’s not worrying about roster fit if he gets a chance to draft that player.
@TheDunkCentral@MikeAScotto Umm GS already gauged his trade value last summer. He played well enough with ATL, but what didn’t change is how teams view him. Better value than last summer, since he’s on an expiring, but still…
@MikeJBackus@SamQuinnCBS You’re seriously underrating the value of that level of defense and using an example of ONE player in ONE series isn’t a valid justification.
@uncleblazer999@EduKanaan@jettyboi24@esidery There’s been a ton of reporting around this and he has already slashed hotel accommodations and travel costs. If it wasn’t true, they would’ve hired Splitter.
@adultwhocares@jemelehill@DrJasonJohnson Awful player comps — both were toast when they got their buyouts. Fox had a disappointing statistical season, but played hurt all year and Spurs still need his ball handling, regardless of having Castle/Harper. It’s an asset.
@ManLook75@DrJasonJohnson It doesn’t benefit them to trade him either, despite what most of these fans think 1) he was playing injured all year 2) these playoffs have shown us how important primary ball handlers are
@Shneikyy@JoshEberley No he doesn’t, stop it. 1) he’s was playing injured 2) his contract & market, duh 3) Spurs aren’t replacing him on the roster with a better guard.
