@TheDunkCentral@BA_Turner@ohnohedidnt24 I don't blame him, he hasn't gotten a big payday yet and he's closing in on 30. I'd worry with him as a #1 option (the best defender on the other team is always going to cover Luka) and for the 2nd playoffs in a row, his game has dipped when it counted most.
@JimmySpencer You seem unclear on the word "clearly." I don't even disagree that out of context, that looks rough but I see guys making this basic move again and again and it's never called so hard to make the case that the 300th time this season someone does this, it's a travel.
@_Kwillreports@lalakersuk@EricPincus Honestly, it all seems moot to me. Giannis has by most accounts said he wants to stay in the east, not just because it's weaker but because it's a faster plane flight to Greece. And the Bucks have said they want to honor Giannis' wishes.
@swaggolfco How is this a choice? I don't want to ever swing a club in front of my favorite tour player, much less shank. A hole in one every time; if it's real, I'll know it forever, even if no one is there to see it.
@_Kwillreports@lalakersuk@EricPincus A lot? your definition of a lot is very different from mine. I see one solid rotation player in Reaves, three guys who will never see the floor in a playoff series and one first and one protected first. Seems super thin for Giannis.
@lalakersuk@EricPincus 2 picks one protected? And Reaves as the only real rotation player of these guys (esp in the playoffs, though DK doesn't seem to be a functional NBA player at all). Doesn't seem much for Giannis.
@esidery I think Fox is a key figure for the Spurs but that is some rough money coming up. Didn't realize his extension hasn't kicked in yet, no wonder the Kings traded him.
@BGeltzNBA Harper was minus 5 last night, Fox was even. Yes, Harper looked better but in his last run in the fourth, he airballed a corner three and just looked uninvolved. Love Harper, but Fox is not why they lost last night.
@showtimeluka This is pure straw man bullshit. All I heard was how Jokic played poorly, how Gobert outplayed him and people have been on Shai's ass since that series began. You're seeing things the way you want to see them, not the way they actually are.
@CurseMuse@Orlan_dis@esidery@MackXzayvion This is pure fantasy thinking. Best case scenario, Kyrie is playing well by early 2027 but he'd already lost at least a half step, that's likely closer to a step and a half post surgery. Did anyone mention he's 34?
@esidery Is this real? I can't see the Wolves giving up two rotation guys (though DD is obviously out for a year) and a pick (28th so not valuable but still...) for a 34 year old coming off a serious injury who hasn't played in a year.
@mikemovies All three were disappointments; Fury most of all with a good action director, it just never came together. The Revenant was tiresome and so relentlessly serious, I lost interest ha half hour in. Prometheus has moments, but mostly it's long and dull.
@NUCLRGOLF@joshwlees@bunkeredgolf No one is, dude. They need to just go away, integrate the 5 good players they have into the PGA and let the other players disappear into the golfing aether.
@jaynitx One of the sad things about Kobe's death for people who didn't know him is he had settled in a post career where he was articulate and honest.
@BGeltzNBA Yet we see the limitations of plus minus in terms of showing the whole picture because Shamet hit two absolutely huge 3s at key moments. I get the larger point, he really doesn't have the strength or size to bother Castle or Harper but he was still a key part of this win.
@Grumsi24 Why the fuck are you talking about a guy who is in no way relevant to what is going on right now in the NBA. This is pure bot shit and if you're not a bot, lose the kneepads and comment on a relevant player.
@legendofchoke I didn't see a lot of wide open shots and the reality is, as good as Fox and esp Castle shot against OKC, this is not an elite shooting team. Fox, Castle and Harper are all below league average shooters. So them missing shots is nothing surprising.
@JoshEberley This seems right to me. It's only one game, but if the Spurs do end up losing, they should see this season as a complete and utter triumph and the first step towards many more.
