My friend Julia Thomson is fundraising for NICHE International. Check out their @JustGiving page and please donate if you can. Thank you! #JustGiving https://t.co/ICi7spqGtC
If it is safe to do so, and you feel confident enough, knowing who to triage can be confusing.
Who has the best chance of survival? Who may not survive?
Take a look below:
Do you recognise any of these dogs?
We are seeking the owners of a number of suspected stolen dogs.
In January, we launched a dedicated operation ‘Op Collar’, led by the Rural Crime Team, to respond to and help prevent dog thefts.

I'm really excited for our abstract to have been chosen as an oral presentation at the #ASPiH2020conference. Presenting with @Jolawrence94 on in-situ #simulation in General Practice. Looking forward to it! 😃
I'm so pleased to have the opportunity to talk to the Carers Forum @ReadingCouncil on the @RCUK#ReSPECTprocess @RBNHST. My first experience doing a presentation online too. Not so bad!
@mancunianmedic So important to remember. Over the years we have worked so hard to learn from what we and others do and not judge and criticise. I do hope we have enough wise souls about to keep doing that.
@DrBenLovell Thanks for your honesty Ben. Capturing tweets like this can help inform med Ed going forwards especially in the area of simulation where I work
RCUK are aware of questions raised around discrepancy in guidance between our advice and that of @PHE_uk. We are working with PHE to seek a shared position and will always prioritise staff safety in resuscitation procedures.
Really happy to have done an oral presentation on our Thames Valley project on In-Situ Deteriorating Patient Simulation in General Practice today at the @BJGPJournal Research Conference #BJGPRC#simulation#lifelonglearning
So basically Nurses we must not act in the best interest of our patient. Let’s say a 99 year old lady passes away peacefully, has an extensive cardiac history, you know cpr will acheive nothing more than harm and distress for all involved. Where is the dignity!?
@ResusTonight@stemlyns@EMManchester @CW_EM_ICM Such an essential part of the Resuscitation. Also needed in mental health. They have a number of different types of emergencies every day. So valuable
No resus is complete without a hot debrief.
My opinion is the person not directly involved in the resus is best to lead the discussion. It can be anyone that is familiar with hot debriefs. Here's a guide courtesy of @stemlyns:
