@Empty_America Agree. It's all speculation until some probe actually gets sent. Seems like every time astronomers detect this type of object the tabloids run to the usual purveyor of light sail tech who always tell them the object is.... Aliens...because the light sail guy, Wants to Believe.
@MashTunTimmy Saw review of the recent Civil War film that took it as a warning about the US playacting itself into a real war. Perhaps this one has the same message but shows the in-person level absurdism of such a conflict: violent revolutionaries are just as dumb as the apparent oppressors.
@KupariUsa Years ago I found that doing activities alone that are traditionally done in a group can make life seem worse than it really is so it might be a good thing to find and join an org where you can hang out with others.
@MashTunTimmy Agreed. I look forward to your review. King has a track record of being against organized religion in his works and has animus against the east coast protestant Christianity that he grew up among. IMO, he would probably call himself a progressive liberal, theologically speaking.
@vcdgf555 Makes sense from their perspective, given the fate of Libya and the continued survival of North Korea. Not the answer the US would want because it guarantees what happens next etc.
@rabcyr_alt@Inv3ntive15 Yep, the early Protestants were big on catechisms and confessions. Some conservative modern denominations use them too. https://t.co/R78AeSMGnl
