We are heartbroken by the passing of legendary R&B singer Peabo Bryson. His performance of "A Whole New World,” with Regina Bell, from Disney’s Aladdin was the first-ever song from an animated film to hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, and we will forever treasure his performance on the song as well as his performance of "Beauty and the Beast,” with Celine Dion, from Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. Our thoughts are with his family and friends.

Tonight we remember Peabo Bryson, the legendary Grammy Award winning singer whose timeless ballads helped define R&B romance for generations.

From "If Ever You're In My Arms Again" to unforgettable duets like "Beauty and the Beast," and "A Whole New World," his voice carried love, hope, and emotion in a way few artists ever could.

Across five decades, Peabo Bryson gave us the kind of music that became the soundtrack to weddings, first dances, quiet nights, and unforgettable moments. His legacy will continue to live on through every note.

I’m heartbroken to hear that we lost Peabo Bryson today.  His incredible voice and his kind spirit embodied the beauty of song and performance.  He was so wonderful and generous to me all those years ago, when we recorded Beauty and the Beast. He made me so comfortable, as I was just learning to sing in English.  He will remain for me always as a real symbol of the joy that music has brought to my life. His voice and his talent will be missed…

My heart is with your family, and may you rest in peace, Peabo.

Tom Kane has sadly passed away at the age of 64.

He was the iconic narrator of ‘The Clone Wars’ series as well as the voice of Yoda & Admiral Yularen. He also voiced Professor Utonium in ‘The Powerpuff Girls’.
