Edward River Gardens in Moulamein is a small 17 bed community managed (not for profit) Aged Care facility that needs support in a challenging aged care funding environment.
With basically NO in home care services available in Moulamein it would be a disaster if we lose our community aged care that was started in 1981 with just 3 independent living units to the first class facility we have today.

Did you know NSW water users are amongst the most water efficient in the world? Our farmers are constantly working on ways to produce more, using less water

[Jon Armstrong @JonArmstrong86]

@AMC_DirtDollars @Episode3net can't be. numbers are too high

[Jon Armstrong @JonArmstrong86]

@Jeremy_Morton_ @tanya_plibersek @Nat_Irrigators @ShingvWorld @RoseBJackson When it's a foregone conclusion, why talk???

[Jon Armstrong @JonArmstrong86]

@JennyGardiner__ @NSWNationals His work for the electorate is a model of good local representation and what it means to put your electorate before any other political gain.

@clint_jasper House committees are such a joke. They will always determine in favor of the majority government who have the majority of members.

MDBA #riverreflections ⁦⁦@theCEWH⁩ highlighting substantial environmental gains thanks to 3000 GL already recovered under Basin Plan & earlier reforms. It’s not the environmental failure many in the peanut gallery want you to believe #auspol ⁦⁦@tanya_plibersek⁩

[Jon Armstrong @JonArmstrong86]

@tomchesson01 I've said it before. The most equitable way to do this is to take a volume of water from the CEWH, give it to first nations and let them work out what they do with it. Cultural watering, enviro watering, selling allocation.

[Jon Armstrong @JonArmstrong86]

The CEWH has more water than they know what to do with. Take this water from the CEWH, give to First Nations and allow self determination.

@tomchesson01 @soupercocky @dirtwork69 (1) If satisfied that it is necessary to do so in the public interest ... to cope with a water shortage, ... the Minister may, ... direct that, for a specified period, the taking of water from a specified water source is prohibited, or is subject to specified restrictions, ...

Thank you Neil for your support and for helping get the message out. Things need to change. But some, including the current Minister need to listen.

@Warwick_Long I mean they should obviously be sun safe but the brand new akubra just out of the box is a bit of a joke.

@JakeWolki lamb for dinner tonight

[Jon Armstrong @JonArmstrong86]

@JakeWolki So I love lamb but buy beef for 2 reasons
1.Consistency of flavour. I find beef more consistent
2.Fat location. I’m not bothered by volume of fat but I prefer it to be inter muscular rather than a big cap on the outside.
Side of 2 tooth $8/kg at the butcher this morning.

@peters_malcolm and this is why we need castle doctrine in Australia.

Some of you may have seen the @AlboMP Gov'ts emotive & factually incorrect ad that talks about overuse of water in the ##MurrayDarling Basin.
There's actually significant underuse of water.
The propaganda from @tanya_plibersek's Department is disgraceful.
