@ecomchasedimond This is brilliant, @ecomchasedimond - thanks for sharing!
Question:
When you’re testing each of these variables, are you testing them as one-offs (eg subject line A v B) and drawing conclusions, or always testing each variable?
@tomroach Ha. Yes, it’s like high-end confectionary (some of it actually looks good enough to eat) using artisanal cues making every item feel handmade and unique. Except it’s not
@michaelmiraflor It was the golden era of the web. We (digital creative agencies) were in permanent exploration mode. Interactivity was feeding our curiosity. Our creativity was limited only by our imaginations. No algos, no news feeds, no ‘personal brands’, no ad tech, no ‘best practice’
@NespressoUK is it common practice that you sign customers up to your direct debit scheme without their authorisation? I’ve just had a DD come out of my account - who gave you the instruction to do so?!
@SamuelBrealey Sign me up. Been through a lot of sh*t too. Job loss, bereavements…
It’s a cliche these days, but get yourself outside in nature, @SamuelBrealey. Walking, but ideally running. It really helps.
Stay cool 🙏🏼
@hammer_mt @SamuelBrealey Have never come across your 'shoggoth' article before, Mike, but I just read it and it pretty much describes me. Even looks like me a bit. Battled with this for a looong time 🧌
@SamuelBrealey Mate, massive respect for coming out and being so honest - takes guts. Sounds like you've been through a lot. It also sounds like you have a plan. Based on the stuff you share/publish online that I've read, I reckon it's a solid plan too. Onwards... 👊🏼
@MichaelWarbur17 As a kid growing up in the early 80s, I cannot behind to tell you how scary this earlier version of Scooby Doo was to me - way more sinister than the later version. That ghost in the opening sequence was the source of many a nightmare for me. Still makes me shiver😱
