Even if 500k (7%) were unable to work, getting people fit and healthy and earning would generate at least £4bn in taxes per annum on a modest salary. NHS spending should be seen as an investment not an expense !

@edwinhayward Well I’ve got £10 on Tories to poll less than 50 seats and my gut feeling is Lib Dem’s will be the opposition. That’s been my view for the last 10 days or so.

I’ve seen the odds drop from 10/1 to 6/1 so far on my bet 😊
