@Drizzy_Dru29 You this org cares? They still employ Dave Toub. They kept Embree around for years. They have a lot of hubris, well earned, but it’s bit them in the butt numerous times
@DMacWake316 If Josh Simmons gets offended by a small portion of Chiefs fans on X, then the man is soft. I don’t think he is, I also don’t think he needs keyboard warriors defending him. I hope he comes back fast but this whole situation has been weird. It’s ok to say that. Time will tell.
@fraudarmstrong He hit the lottery. This team was on an historic run and he was the lynchpin on D. They hadn’t drafted anyone that could remotely replace his production and got forced into overpaying. They also waited and allowed Aaron to reset the market.
@panic1383@Chief_Bearcat They haven’t earned any benefit of the doubt after last year. They have to right to be secretive and mysterious but their record with stuff like this is brutal. They actually make it harder on themselves with how they answer.
@HomestretchKC Has been since the moment started first game. The stats are atrocious. Love his tenacity and what he’s done for this org. but he’s cooked unless they move him to safety imo.
@emceereach@geoffschwartz He has genuinely turned into a jerk on X. I used to enjoy his stuff but it’s so condescending lately. OL is concerning too but behind the two of mentioned for sure.
@ArrowheadLive Interesting to see how much opponent secondary affects this chart early on. Not making excuses for KC WRs but they did face off against a couple really good cover corners in the first two weeks. Time will tell
@KCAvsFan9@MattConnerAA Agreed. Just limited what they could have done this year. That goes for the Gray and Fulton too. Good thing we purge a lot this offseason. The real question is are they going to grossly overpay Bolton again?
@LeeElliott7@KyleM_FF Was thinking the same thing. Over the course of a year this is great. After two game it should still be viewed with caution. Facing better secondary early on could definitely skew the number drastically. I like the concept and would be curious what last years stats say.
@emceereach I 💯 underestimated the need this team has for that role prior to his departure. Pat isn’t that type of player, it’s not who he is and Andy isn’t either. Gotta think he has learned a thing or two in his time away as well. Glad he’s here!
@emceereach@Beewhite38 It’s definitely an infinity more risky proposition than Randy Moss. Does show that dumpster fire teams can have an effect on effort. I do get the reservations and I probably don’t fit that thirsty Chiefs fans you were directing this towards. I’m slightly intrigued at this point
@priceacarter K9 is phenomenal. I’m not sure any good back wouldn’t have been successful here. Maybe not as successful as K9 has been but Etiennes numbers would look better than his current numbers in our offense for sure.
@Nate_Knows_Ball Is anyone not thrilled about this possibility. Won’t cost a draft pick, cheap contract, will get his best as he hopes for a new contract, knows the system, and has chemistry with Mahomes. The only possible downside is how much explosion has he lost (hopefully not a lot).
