Western courts are rigging cases in order to protect IDF soldiers and punish those who try to hold them accountable
This is why the liberals who condemn the resistance are useless. They believe the way to free Palestine is using the courts and the UN meanwhile that’s completely delusional
Just to be clear, then. FIFA:
1) can't possibly intervene when Iran are forced to move, a referee is denied a visa, or fans are barred from the USA
2) can absolutely intervene when a decision goes against the USA that Donald Trump doesn't like
Smashing. All know where we stand
You're not politically homeless, you're just upset because you made your entire politics about what you thought sensible was.
Starmer personified it and you don't like that it's really unpopular and shambolic.
The great Israel Parliamentary debate stitch up
I've just totaled up the amount of time each side had to speak during the parliamentary debate yesterday on Israeli influence over UK politics.
The pro-Israel side had 1 hour and 9 minutes to put forward their pro-Israel views.
The anti-Israel side had 15 minutes only to put forward their anti-Israel views.
So in effect, the pro-Israel side had 82% of the speaking time during the debate, and the anti-Israel side had 18% speaking time.
This wasn't a debate, it was a forum for Israeli hasbara and propaganda.
And it proves exactly why 117,000 people signed a petition questioning Israel's influence over UK politicians.
Josh Simons, one of Trevor Chinn’s hatchet men from Labour Together – embraces Andy Burnham after giving up his seat for him.
Do we imagine that this key Zionist operative gave Burnham a shot at being PM out of the goodness of his heart?
Or do we think there will be a price?
Are Simons (and his boss, Trevor Chinn, the effective leader of the U.K. Zionist movement), now the new handlers of the next Prime Minister?
Ask someone making $60,000 a year if they're working class.
Many will say no.
Not because the economics don't support it. They do, overwhelmingly. But because "working class" sounds like a category for people with less than them.
People who didn't go to college. People who work with their hands. People closer to the bottom of the ladder they're still convinced they're climbing.
This refusal of the category is not an accident of vocabulary.
It is the precise mechanism that prevents class consciousness from forming in a country that needs it not to form.
You cannot organize a class that refuses to recognize itself.
The empire didn't have to ban the word "solidarity."
It just had to make everyone believe they were one rung away from not needing it.
🚨SON DAKİKA:
Vladimir Putin: "Eğer Rusya, İsrail'in Gazze'de yaptıklarının sadece %10'unu yapmış olsaydı, NATO şu anda Moskova'nın kapısında olurdu."
Batı bize insan haklarının İsrail'in çıkarlarının sınırlarında başlayıp bittiğini öğretti."
🚨BREAKING: Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu Openly Defies Trump & Vows To Violate The Iran Deal
“What we did to Gaza, we will do to southern Lebanon. Just like we secure the South, we will secure the North.”
He also added that “Sometimes, I do not agree with Trump. Therefore, Israel will do whatever it takes to maintain its own security.”
You can vehemently disagree with Palestine Action activists goals, whilst simultaneously be horrified a judge can decide AFTER a conviction if it was terrorism related amd double a sentence.
Being able to class an offense as terrorism AFTER conviction without charging them with terrorism should bother everyone.
Any protest action that is now determined as trying to "change government policy" can have this applied.
So today it's Palestine Action, but next it'll be immigration protests, farmers protests, NHS, tax etc etc.
The problem was never Trump.
Trump is the readable version of a text that was always there, written in language most people couldn't access.
The problem is the system that produced him, that uses him, that will survive him, and that will next time find someone equally willing to do what he does but competent enough to do it quietly.
The competent version is more dangerous.
The competent version rebuilds the language. Restores the branding. Hires the speechwriters who know how to say "shared values" and "rules-based order" while executing identical policy.
And the people who spent four years appalled by Trump's vulgarity will feel the relief of good grammar and take it for moral improvement.
The empire doesn't need Trump specifically.
It needed what he provided: a stress test. A period of operation without the usual ideological cover, to see what held and what didn't.
What held: the sanctions. The bases. The vetoes. The dollar. The weapons sales. The regime change operations.
What didn't hold: the manners.
And when someone comes along who can restore the manners while keeping everything else, and they will, they always do, the people who thought the problem was the manners will call it a recovery.
The rest of us will know what it actually is.
Fun fact. For the 1966 World Cup, England debated denying visas for North Korea. FIFA responded that if any players from any teams were denied visas, they would relocate the World Cup, even at the last minute.
Emily Thornberry has today said the government has let down the Palestinian people, and allowed Israel to act with impunity.
The audacity.
Here she is in October 2023 refusing to condemn Israel cutting off power and supplies to Gaza.
Don’t let these people rewrite history.
