Vesuvius launched 24 hours ago and we're happy with how it's been received by the community.

A reminder that LAVA is the core token underlying the Lava Network - users/developers connect to ANY blockchain through Lava. Our vision is to power the modular access layer for crypto.

This airdrop is just step 1 for what will be a very different kind of Mainnet and token launch. By being eligible for LAVA, you are part of the conversation.

We wanted to share a breakdown of the airdrop and cover some key questions we've been seeing:

Over 50% of eligible claimers have already claimed their LAVA, which will be sent to you at Mainnet:

> After verifying my airdrop eligibility, I submitted an EVM/Cosmos wallet, not a Lava wallet. How can I update my wallet?

We'll be sharing details about a new flow in our Discord to submit your Lava wallet address. Please join there and alert the moderators about your situation.

> Do I need to submit a Lava testnet address?
​
Yes, if you are eligible and verified, you need to submit a Lava testnet address so the LAVA can be distributed at Mainnet. Your Lava testnet address will automatically turn into a Mainnet address later.

> I can't see my LAVA in my wallet. Why?
​
It will be distributed to you at Public Mainnet.
​
> How do I claim as a Graph indexer?

We've had a lot of support and excitement from the Graph indexers about the eligibility. Some are unable to claim, due to the operator address being a contract. We will work with selected community members to find a way to distribute the tokens securely and more details on this will be released soon.

> My claim was stopped mid way, I did not sign the claim tx, and now it says I already claimed. What do I do?
​
You're fine - no action required. Lava's airdrop connects your eligibility to your destination address on Lava mainnet. The coupling does not require a signature and once the claim button is pressed, it is saved for the Foundation to distribute the funds on the day of the launch.

We are seeing all community feedback and taking the time to let feedback come in before we make any decisions.

> I had Lava points but didn't get airdrop - why?
​
Our intention was to reward core community members and users of Lava. We worked very hard with @flipsidecrypto to analyze all points holders and reduce as much sybil and bots as we could.
​
Unfortunately there will be some users who were eliminated as a result of this approach. This is something which we are continuing the review but at this stage, decisions are final. There are future growth and incentive programmes planned for Lava community and users - there are always ways to be rewarded for being part of the Lava community.
​
> Why did we introduce a $1 STARZ criteria to Sloths eligibility?
​
We did NOT do this to eliminate sybil. We know the Sloths are a strong community and that's why we airdropped a substantial amount to Sloth holders, as core supporters of Lava.
​
We introduced a STARZ criteria because @StargazeZone is the home of Sloths and also a key Lava partner. A Stargaze incentive pool will be live on Lava Mainnet to reward node operators and stakers.

The rational was to both reward the Sloth community and to align with Lava's vision for upcoming Mainnet and incentive pools.

Our airdrop and upcoming Public Mainnet launch are both designed to reward loyal community members and partners of Lava. The criteria has been designed to fulfil this goal. If we feel that there are better ways to do this, we will not hesitate to make changes to our approach and airdrop.

Next Phase:

> The dashboard will be taken down for a few hours in the next few days to fix some issues and let failed users claim. We will announce this ahead of time.

> We'll continue to register feedback. If changes are necessary, they will be communicated, but we are confident in our decisions and look forward to Public Mainnet.
