I kind of agree with this. In a way, if the Mona Lisa was not there, I wonder how crowded it actually would be. Although, I honestly think many museums have that "one thing" everyone looks for. #jhumda
This may be just a funny thing that the museum posts, but it is intriguing to me. If museums posted more things like this, then maybe people may actually care about what is in the museum. Little things like this makes me want to go to the zoo. #jhumda
We won't tell if you watch the panda cam all week while Bei Bei is featured 24/7.

“Incredibly moving and powerful. The walking tour is a MUST do… If I could give this 6 stars I would… It was more intimate and focused on the good that has come out of this tragic event.” – Dominic (via @TripAdvisor) #TravelTuesday
This in a way makes me think of a discussion question this week. Having a 360 view of this area, in a way, makes me want to go see it in person. Open policy, in my belief, does not impact the museum financially that much. #jhumda
Remember, remember the 5th of November… 💥 Following his arrest and the failure of the Gunpowder Plot, Guy Fawkes was taken to the Tower and interrogated here in the Council Chamber of the Queen’s House. Take a look around 👀 https://t.co/GtnSYk1pra
The one thing that I still do not understand with museums is how easy it becomes to ignore a code of ethics and financial irresponsibility. Never understood it, what happened to integrity and self worth? #jhumda

State Museum educators recently visited a 7th grade class at Goff Middle School in East Greenbush. Their teacher consulted on the Museum’s “Fort Orange Educational Guide”, an online resource for educators funded by a grant from @DutchCultureUSA program administered by @NLinNY.
It is intersting that even after all of this time, things are still being found on ground that has been excavated numerous times. Makes me wonder what else is hiding down in the ground. #jhumda
Rare excavation works outside the Tower's Chapel of St Peter ad Vincula have uncovered amazing finds which shed new light on what life was like for those who lived here 500 years ago. Find out more in our latest blog: https://t.co/9WEPPbz9lQ
I think that it is interesting that as old as this museum is, it is still being used in important events. This should be the goal of any museum. #jhumda
A 41-gun salute has been fired outside the Tower by the @HACRegiment to mark the State Opening of Parliament. A standard State Salute is 21 rounds — the additional 20 rounds reflect the Tower’s status as a Royal Palace and Fortress 👑
Have thirdtparty apps created a bad name for national parks? The national parks have a hard enough time bringing in revenue and these apps seem to ruin experiences for people. #jhumda
The Virginia Museum of History and Culture recently hosted CWI Director Dr. Peter Carmichael for a lecture on Confederate Deserter John Futch. You can watch the lecture on-demand at the attached link!

We’re not sensitive about people knowing our age — nearly 1000 years young and counting! We don’t know exactly which year the White Tower was completed, but work began on the orders of William the Conqueror in the 1070s and took about 2 decades #InsideTheTower
