@phoenixramageur@ElormEdzido@KIN110UofR I disagree that it will never be equal. With women's sports on the rise and new leagues like the new women hockey league, I could see it being close to 50/50 in the long future.

Most major sporting events like the World Cup and Olympics often leave the hosting nations with a ton of debt or structures that cost money to maintain but don't get used. Do you think that countries should host even though it burdens their country's economy?

Obese people cause the Canadian healthcare system to spend $5-7 billion yearly. Should the government have an overweight tax to relieve the healthcare system?
@KIN110UofR This article is about the 100 Croatians on trial for the murder of a Greek fan after a soccer match.
The article states most cases will be dismissed. Do you think that is right?

@KIN110UofR In the world of bodybuilding, steroids can be seen as the norm if you want to make it as a professional. Outside the gym though people see it as unnecessary and deadly to one's health. should this be encouraged or should natural competitions be given more spotlight?
@Josh3534@ZachSchaan@KIN110UofR Hey Josh, I totally agree that $9,000 is way too much, and would be able to do so many activities with 9k. An example would be to travel through Europe. It's recommended you only have $5,000 USD. So instead of 1 NFL game, you travel and still have leftover money for a sportbike!
@KIN110UofR One of the greatest goalies to come out of Canada is from the Ulkatcho First Nation community. Carrey Price is a former goalie for the Montreal Canadians and a future Hall of Famer
@KIN110UofR I believe that it is a cycle and when the kids see how their parents act, when they grow up they will follow in the same footsteps. so it is important for the parents to lead by example and show what a good sport is so that the kids and culture that they grow up in is healthy.

https://t.co/H7EmtUtJtS If most sports owners are white businessmen, should we approach them as to how more people of color in sports management will make them more wealthy and expand the sport and their business? Because money speaks louder than people. Thoughts?
