@ElormEdzido@KIN110UofR I believe in the future this should be more even between genders. It will never be equal but hopefully it moves in the direction of equality.
@ElormEdzido@KIN110UofR@Kaitlyn87137589 I agree, climate is a huge factor for the triathlon athletes. There needs to be more caution when scheduling a competition around days that can have bad weather. Sometimes events have to be canceled because of poor conditions. There should be a way to monitor it better.
@CassB444@KIN110UofR@ZachSchaan I agree with this because most of the stadiums used do not get used after the olympics. It is a waste of money and time to build a beautiful stadium in different locations and not use it after. I believe they should open them to the public for people to rent and use.
@KAldhaherNoor@KIN110UofR As a hockey fan myself, I would love to see the world juniors being hosted here. It is a spectacle around the world during the end of the year that has built up many young canadian players. Regina also heavily supports all of thier sports teams so it would be a hit.
@ddxxzzyy@KIN110UofR I believe soccer should be televised more on popular sports networks to gain more viewers and generate more revenue for the teams to travel. Flight is really the only way to travel as of now but maybe something will change in the future.
@JonathanM0rr@KIN110UofR I believe there needs to be more promotion of a healthy lifestyle. People need to be more educated on what they are eating and how much exercise they should be getting per week. To relive the healthcare system, people need to speak out and be honest about their weight.
@KIN110UofR There are three canadian hockey teams, but two of them are broadcasted and more well known. What team are you supporting between the Toronto Maple Leafs and Montreal Canadians?
Studies have shown that creatine supplementation may enhance resistance training such as increased muscular power, endurance and strength. It can be expensive to buy every few months consistently, do you think the benefits are worth the money? @KIN110UofR
@JonathanM0rr@KIN110UofR I believe steroid use should be more accepted in competitions and viewed as okay to do, as long as you do it in a safe way. I also believe natural bodybuilding competitions get way to overshadowed and they should be treated with some stage of equality moving forward.
@skylakasick@KIN110UofR I feel that caffeine in younger athletes should be accepted around the recommended age of 12. That being said, the dosage in my opinion should not be higher than 120mg a day. That is more than enough for growing athletes with already high amounts of energy and hormonal changes.
@KIN110UofR Mary Spencer is a proud Ojibway boxer from Cape Croker First Nation in Ontario. She began boxing at age 17 and competed at the 2012 olympics in London 10 years later, tieing for 5th place in her weight category. https://t.co/deoguMldkp
@KIN110UofR A parents influence on their kids, plays a huge role in their development as an athlete and a person. Positive parents help to build a better foundation for their kids in sports and help them believe in themselves. I believe we need more of this around youth sports with kids.

This article talks about how a new hockey forum in Membertou, Nova Scotia, is being built and aims to address the growth of womenโs hockey and increase diversity on teams. This will become the home for womenโs hockey in the region.
@KIN110UofR In my opinion, a sport of something that involves teams or two people competing against eachother to win. There has to be a set of rules and regulations for each sport. I believe for something to be a sport, it does not have to be televised or in the olympics.
