On this day—October 25, 1929

The Shaw Commission arrived in Jerusalem to investigate Arab massacres of Jews across Mandate Palestine. This was two decades before Israel’s independence.

Arabs had killed 133 Jews brutally with axes, knives, and clubs in places like Jerusalem, Hebron, and Safed. Homes were looted, synagogues were destroyed, and survivors were raped and mutilated.

The massacres were ongoing. There were another 57 Arab attacks against Jews as the Commission sat. The Grand Mufti later invoked the Protocols of the Elders of Zion and compared himself to Jesus, claiming Jews had denounced him.

The Commission found the Arab attacks on Jews were driven by hostility to Jews in general and the notion of Jewish sovereignty anywhere in the Land.

This was the conclusion before there were any “settlements,” “occupation,” or even a State of Israel.

Jewish Israeli woman Shani Gabay was shot by Hamas terrorists, continued to run for her life, and then found shelter in the "Death Ambulance" at Nova.

Her and 17 others perished in the ambulance.

It was hit by an RPG, rendering everyone unconscious, then it caught ablaze, reports from Lihie Gilhar have determined.

Shani and everyone were reduced to smoke and ashes. It took 47 days (seven weeks) to properly identify her body.

Shani — whose name means "scarlet" or "crimson" in Hebrew — was deeply loved and loved deeply. She was a 25-year-old law student.

Her slogan? "No time For Drama."

Two terror operatives involved in funneling millions of shekels to Hamas were killed in strikes in the Gaza Strip last week, the military says.

The IDF says one strike on Wednesday in Gaza City killed Alaa Ibrahim Nimer Arshi, a cell commander in Hamas's military wing, and a strike on Tuesday in Nuseirat killed Karam Riyad Hassan Abu Butaihan, a Palestinian Islamic Jihad operative.

Both operatives were involved in transferring millions of shekels from Iran and Turkey to Hamas's military wing, according to the military.

"Recently, these funds helped the organization in its attempts to rebuild its military capabilities and advance terror attacks against IDF troops and Israeli civilians, in systematic violation of the ceasefire," the military says, adding that the "terrorists were killed in an airstrike to eliminate the threat."

Separately, the IDF says it bombed three Hamas weapon depots in the central Gaza Strip on Thursday.

The sites had been used by Hamas to store various weapons, including Kalashnikov rifles, rockets, and a rocket launcher, the military adds.

Report: Israeli intelligence shared with the US that terror group Hamas has no plans to disarm, has rebuilt its tunnel system, restored its pre-October 7, 2023, force levels of 30,000 to 40,000 terrorists, and has reimposed full governance over Gaza.

And now Hamas has made its intentions explicit.

Last week, Hamas officials met with the UN humanitarian coordinator in Gaza - and used the meeting to deliver a direct threat to Israel: they are prepared to carry out another October 7, 2023-style attack, inside Israel, in the West Bank/Judea and Samaria, and abroad, wherever an opportunity arises. Israeli officials described the warning as “unusually explicit and severe.”

While the world pressures Israel to make concessions - Hamas is rebuilding, rearming, and promising to do it again.

Let’s PRETEND all Palestinian claims against Israel are true

Which they’re not

“Palestine” is a front for Islamic imperialism that masquerades as caring about statehood in order to advance muslim expansion across the world

But let’s pretend

Let’s pretend Israel “took Palestinian land”

The Palestinians are akin to a man who tried to stab you to death. You disarmed them. You gave back the knife and asked for peace. But they didn’t want peace. They tried to stab you to death again. You disarmed them again and returned the knife. But they tried to stab you to death again and again. Each time you gave them back the knife. But they tried to stab you to death again and again and they say they will ALWAYS try to stab you to death.

At some point Israel held onto the knife

Now the Palestinians cry “Thief! Thief! They stole my knife! It doesn’t belong to them!”

Technically this would be true

But there is a higher moral law at work - the right to not be stabbed to death by lunatics

And so Israel has every right to hold onto a knife, a hilltop, a territory, if that land gives advantage and is being used by enemies to exterminate the Jews

So even if Palestinian claims about “their” land were historically and legally accurate - which they are not - they have no right to use that land to plot more October 7ths - nor would you or any other country allow them the territorial advantage and strategic capability to do so

Ultimately - if you don’t like the situation - your energy would be better placed trying to change the racist, jihadist, murderous society of Palestinians

Only when that intent is modified can there be a start to any kind of conversation
