@philobrossuckdi@aigkenham It’s not a non sequitur. While it’s true that what applies to a part doesn’t always apply to the whole, it often does. It’s a basic principle of logic…Anything that begins to exist requires a cause. Faith that there is no creator appears to require the same faith I possess.
@philobrossuckdi@aigkenham Over simplistic, but cause and effect. Every creation from my limited knowledge appears to have a creator. It seems the most logical explanation.
@Doobersteiner@IsMrAndre Don’t let them get in your way of eternity. If you’ve never done it, read the book of John and then read Romans. Filter out all the crazy noise and hypocrisy. Don’t miss out on your salvation cause the choir was full of morons. It’s between you and God. I avoid arguing with them
@slimkingkaleo@theeconnork@SpencerHakimian • Tacitus & Pliny (Roman)
• Josephus (Jewish)
• Babylonian Talmud
• Lucian & Thallus (Greek)
• Gary Habermas (Scholar)
There’s more evidence for his life than virtually all other people from antiquity. If you disregard His existence you’ve got to write off most others.
@Nicolai_reborn@SpencerHakimian "You Samaritans worship what you do not know; we worship what we do know, for salvation is from the Jews." (John 4)
He’s also “the Lion of the Tribe of Judah” (Rev. 5:5).
"For it is clear that our Lord descended from Judah..." (Hebrews 7:14).
Jesus is God, who came as a Jew.
@RealCJ10 I’ve never posted a thing to X but I’m gonna shoot the moon here-Chipper: we’re attempting to get the average between .450-.500 next year (he will be 12 years old). What do we need to work on?
