A #USS member has reported suspicious activity on her credit file following the Capita data breach. The #USS member signed up to the free ID theft service offered by USS to 470000 members whose data was put at risk by the Capita cyber hack in March.

Yesterday our e-consultation closed on strike days in response to punitive 50% deductions.

84% voted to back strikes.

This is avoidable if @durham_uni management remove the threat of deductions & publicly state @UCEA1 should re-enter negotiations.

BREAKING: under pressure from our branch KCL management has reduced the limit of punitive 50% deduction from 20 to 10 days: the max deduction is now 5 days of salary. While we reserve the right to respond, this shows that collective action works! Let’s keep up the pressure! ✊🏼
