Biden can erase medical debt held by veterans *just as easily* as he erased student debt. Veterans' medical debt is too held by the federal government. Nonwhite veterans are more likely to to use the VA for healthcare needs. @POTUS should wipe that debt out completely.
A debtors' union is not just an idea we have simply toyed with. We're building it now. We're the nation's first union of debtors.
Whether you're a debtor or potential debtor, we're asking you to join us—with $0/month dues or whatever you can give.

A daily reminder that if you got a 5.5% "pay raise" at a time when corporations are jacking up prices by 9%, your boss cut your paycheck by 3.5%. The problem is not the dude at Wendy's who got a 50 cent raise 5 months ago. The problem is corporate greed.
They didn’t need a gathering to answer this question.
The answer is to simply do the thing nobody in DC is ever allowed to talk about: Just help millions of people.
I say to Senator Toomey, if you don't believe we can afford to take care of our veterans suffering from toxic burn pit exposure, then you should not have approved funding to go to war. Taking care of our veterans is the cost of war – period. End of discussion.
@joerogan and @andrewschulz discussing Trump vs. @BernieSanders
SCHULZ: That's what was so endearing about Bernie. Did you feel like he cared about winning and controlling? I never got that sense.
ROGAN: No. I got a sense that he genuinely wants to help people, the working class
Turning off the $300 a month Child Tax Credit for working families while turning on an estimated $30 billion corporate welfare check to Intel, a company that made $20 billion in profits & gave its CEO a $179 million compensation package last year is the definition of corruption.
The House just passed a record-high $840 billion Military budget, the same amount as all the stimulus checks combined.
Huh, guess when they print money for people it's "socialist," but when they do it for Military contractors it's "bipartisan."
They told us we would be poor under socialism, but under capitalism 140 million Americans are poor or low-income and one $600 emergency away from homelessness. Don’t wait until it happens to your family. Fight now for a better system where everyone has healthcare, housing & food.
Democrats every election:
“THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT ELECTION IN HISTORY.”
Democrats have been using this line our entire lives to fear-monger for votes, but once in power they don’t fight for anyone besides their corporate donors.

if the entire federal government, elected or bureaucratic, refuses to do anything — ever — to protect the rights of vulnerable people and only caters to interests of the wealthy and a vocal minority, why do we have one?
The fact that is considered legal for a corporation to compile perfect records of your private life simply because you had to "click OK to continue" to make your phone work is a perfect expression of who holds the power in society and why they should be cast into the sea.
BREAKING: Green party candidate @MatthewPHoh did the hard work of collecting the 13,865 signatures required to get on the ballot (he submitted 15,953 signatures) & the Board of Elections just voted 3-2 not to certify it. The 3 people who voted to subvert democracy are DEMOCRATS.
Our biggest obstacle isn’t a lack of resources, or public opinion, or even Republicans. We have supermajorities in both chambers of our legislature.
What it will take to achieve these things is for all of us to put courage over politics, starting right now.
