@currentlynotgho@HackingADHD Yeah the melt down needs to happen before I can get to " its not gonna be what I was aiming for, so let's just fail as best as we can"
@Adhdokie @birdbrainmd3@AskADHD Adhd meds will help your mood too... I found mine more impactful on my depression than my anti depressants. But yeah I agree keep seeing the psychiatrist if you're still finding stuff out!
@ND_Anka@StructuredSucc It's one of those things that makes all our symptoms disappear I think! Because it's interesting and challenging... also I guess lack of memory makes you learn a system based approach rather than a logical step by step 1. Also like with anything, flashes of brilliance and madness
@Elly53723172@AskADHD I've been struggling to work this out too! I've noticed no 2 cups are the same as well... and it also depends on how you've slept, whether you've exercised, had a glass of wine last night etc. Etc. I begin with one cup in the morning, then assess my symptoms through the day
@3TrackMind79 I'm from the UK. The most pressing issue I can see is not so much the fact most don't understand it, but that they think they already do. So its hard to educate on it. That, and the obstacles to diagnosis somebody has already mentioned
@safaceri @AskADHD I actually think weirdly enough I did a lot better at uni than I or anyone else expected because you don't have to do your coursework on anybodies schedule. So to some extent you can wait til you get the fear of an almost impossible deadline to focus you!
@amaziement Go for it! I think some of our strengths help with driving.... I mean we only get distracted because we are alert about peripherals, so I reckon we spot hazards really well. It's just the old impulse control on the speed limit you gotta watch out for
@caraesten Absolutely agree! Every one I know who did loads of p2p downloads also bought loads of cds and records... I also think it helped level the playing field for indies with all the blogs!
@IanThom01@EmmaKennedy They wouldn't have doubled in value last year if they were so unprofitable, and nobody that argues the case that you are arguing thinks that isn't true. You're being disingenuous aren't you?
@IanThom01@EmmaKennedy Don't play stupid mate, you know they don't operate at a revenue of hundreds of billions but only make a couple of million in actual profit. Clearly you understand that 'tax avoidance' and 'tax evasion' only exist as separate terms so people can cheat
I know I was never a big fan of Brexit. But it's done. And I do seem to recall a promise of £350 million a week for the NHS. Here's a picture of that promise. That's £18.2 billion a year that @michaelgove and @BorisJohnson promised. So that's the nurse's pay issue solved. Right?
@ABCsofADHD Yeah man definitely always had this, but I think if you over share with them or are too familiar, even if they don't think you're as close as you do, they'll think it's nice of you anyway... So like don't worry about holding it in
@Silway2 Thanks mate. Yeah I've started trying this and it has helped to some extent but I do tend to not achieve all the tasks and then next day I have a mountain of red flagged late tasks, so I think I need to refine how I do it a bit
