@FishOnFirstPod@CraigMish I am so shocked Craig said that with a straight face. I'd be laughing if I said what he said about the Marlins actually spending money to sign players and FAs.
@IsaacAzout Barely over .500 isn't gonna move the needle for fans to come.
Whole ownership has been deemed toxic by the locals and we just need a new guy who will actually spend a tiny bit to compete rather than do nothing each year in FA.
Marlins need to consistently compete each season.
@Cangelosifan@Exiled_axe Yeah, and good for them and the NHL exec for approving Viola. Unfortunately, I truly believe the MLB Exec hates us and totally helped play a part in Loria having a second chance and approving Sherman/Jeter despite all the red flags lol.
@NFLFrascella It's almost like the majority of the teams realize they are about to lose a year of baseball and want to stock up on young talent to offset the lost season with prospects active in the MiLB right now.
@RealJ_101010@DKSports Nono, that's correct. That's the year we have a 30m roster and do some bs magic to beat the 20b Dodgers team. we'll be heroes before we firesale the team to be a 10m dollar payroll
@Exiled_axe Seeing Lee's stats, I'm actually curious about this dude. Hope he pans out, it'd be wild having potentially both a Japanese and Korean player playing on the Fish in 6-7 years, we'd be an East Asian Market darling.
@robertw477@RealEly MLB writers (and the Athletic, and ESPN) can be a bunch of hype men who don't know anything. I'd be more than shocked if the Fish are sold since they are now officially in the playoffs. Craig Mish, on the other hand, has said otherwise about the fish being sellers
