@blxckdred@ScottyWho69@shabablah@AgfAab@VidaVivaDiva Yes, but (assuming you already have a physical TV) there's no charge to watch ABC after you pay $10 for the antenna. Broadcast TV is free.
A broadband data plan to use streaming video costs $$.
@blxckdred@ScottyWho69@shabablah@AgfAab@VidaVivaDiva Assuming you have a physical TV & don't want to pay for cable TV service (reasonable), the $10 antenna is simpler & cheaper. Streaming video will rack up tons of gigabytes ($$) on cellular data plans. You can get the antenna delivered to your house. Don't need to access an app.
@blxckdred@ScottyWho69@shabablah@AgfAab@VidaVivaDiva Also, addressing your landline point, it's valuable to have a big chunky phone that always sits in the same place in your house and always rings, instead of hunting for your tiny cell phone (which may or may not be on silent).
@blxckdred@ScottyWho69@shabablah@AgfAab@VidaVivaDiva An app on a TV requires broadband internet (which could be via cable, satellite, cellular). That requires paying a broadband provider a big monthly bill.
With the $10 antenna device I linked above, you just turn on your TV and get ABC (or CBS or NBC or Fox) for free.
@ngigeaux@marcisenberg@DanielPoneman He moved to Lincolnshire, IL in fall of 2010 (8th grade) when his dad got a job coaching under Thibodeau. Jalen stayed there thru end of high school.
@dylancohen21@SACryptoBull@getnickwright I might get in trouble for this, but maybe he is more valuable next to Brunson due to their incredible chemistry (and their complementary skills) than he would be on a different team (LAL, NOP, POR)?
@Ondy2112@allan_cheapshot@HeyHeyItsConrad Jarrett left WWF in early '96 due to money issues. Later in '96, they made a storyline out of "Roadie was the real singer" but it didn't land right because Jarrett was no longer there to take the heat.
@freddrito@omarisankofa Stan was GSW’s first choice before they hired Kerr?
Kerr had no coaching experience. I recall seeing an article where he wowed Warriors management with a Powerpoint about motion offense or something like that.
@SamQuinnCBS@ProPelsTalk The same happened with Durant in 2019 (he returned too soon from a calf injury, hoping to win a championship) so it was very foreseeable.
@SamQuinnCBS@ProPelsTalk Specifically, New Orleans traded the Pacers 2026 pick on June 17, 2025 -- which was the day after Hali strained his calf in Finals Game 5.
"Hali misses the whole season" was still a low-probability outcome, but yeah, they probably should've waited a couple days.
@ScottAgness Why are you distinguishing between "load management" and "strategic management plan"? What do you see as the difference?
Putting that aside, it sounds like you are in the right here vis-a-vis the team.
