It was a pleasure to host the 20th Annual NUE (Nitrogen Use Efficiency) conference this week. 160 attendees (nearly 40% being grad students) spent 1.5 days discussing the latest in N management and the future of N research and Extension. Had at least 15 Universities represented.

Research inspired on some early #wheat work by @WheatPete looking at the interaction of N availability and fungicide. By harvest we should have 20+ site years in two seasons. Very dry conditions limited fungicide benefits so far. Work led by @JorgeSolerr funded @KansasWheat
