MultiversX is on track to deliver the most consequential milestone since its original Elrond Genesis: Supernova.
This is a complete re-imagining of MultiversX designed to push the limits of speed, scalability, and decentralization, and to establish it as a fiber network for global finance.
The big question is this: how do we make this defiining milestone an ignition moment for the entire EGLD ecosystem?
A brief thread, on the new economics model, and why your vote is vital today. 🧵
Today marks an important moment for the MultiversX ecosystem.
After weeks of open collaboration, discussion, and refinement, the final governance proposal is now live for all $EGLD stakeholders to review and vote on.
This process has been a first in Web3: real governance with real stakeholders, leading to real improvements and tangible results. It shows what can happen when builders, validators, contributors, and community members unite around a shared purpose.
The result is a strong and forward-looking proposal that sets a new direction for the network and its community: toward growth.
Together with Supernova, it puts in place the building blocks for the next phase of MultiversX: expanding the fibre network for finance, bringing new users, businesses, and institutions onchain, and becoming the best place to build for entrepreneurs around the world.
We are deeply grateful and proud to have such a committed community beside us. Your energy, ideas, and persistence have shaped this vision and made it stronger.
Now, it’s time to take the final step.
Make your voice heard. Cast your vote and shape the future of MultiversX
@lucianmincu@Justin_Bons@beniaminmincu In Spain we have a saying: the best contempt is to ignore. So, I suggest you Lucian and team not to keep engaging in conversation with Justin, as his intentions don’t seem good. Justin has the space to join the Multiverse calls and contribute, but that’s not the case here.
Clarity through chaos.
Over the years, we’ve built something extraordinary together. Through every challenge, delay, and breakthrough, it’s been you, the real community, who’ve helped carry this vision forward. You’ve shown up not just with support, but with ideas, with effort, and with belief. From early adopters to builders, creators, validators, developers, and long-time holders, every step forward has been made possible by those who choose to build and support.
We know this journey hasn’t always been easy. The markets have tested our patience, as they are doing even now. But even in the face of uncertainty, this community continues to build, contribute, and push forward. And through it all, one thing has become clear: we’ve built something that’s worth fighting for.
It’s precisely because of everything we’ve achieved together that it’s time to call out what’s been quietly working against it.
Trolls and toxicity.
Lately, a small group of individuals has made it their mission to spread division, undermine the builders, and attack everything this community has worked to create. These are not voices of concern or constructive feedback. Their goal is simple: to tear others down while pretending to “speak for the community.” In reality, they’re just looking for more fuel to keep the fire of negativity they started.
It's difficult for rational, well-intentioned community members to understand this kind of behavior. We naturally assume others act in good faith, so we struggle to grasp why someone would choose to put so much effort into undermining, distorting, or attacking without reason. That’s exactly why their narratives sound so seductive. Because they exploit our instinct to trust.
They succeed at times because most real community members only have a few hours a day to engage, while these individuals dedicate all their time to crafting attacks, sowing doubt, and amplifying outrage.
It’s an uneven game. And that’s exactly how they want it.
For them the reason is simple.
They do it because destruction is easier than creation. Because it gives them a false sense of control. And as long as they can stir doubt, they feel powerful. But that power is hollow. And it ends the moment we stop giving our attention to them.
So let’s be clear.
There is always space here for honest dialogue.
There is room for constructive feedback.
There is even room for disagreement.
But when someone consistently chooses aggression, provocation, lies, and toxicity day after day, they forfeit that space.
To see people try to tear apart what so many have spent years building is not only heartbreaking. It’s revolting. And unacceptable.
Moving forward, with firmness and clarity.
We are not here to fight shadows or feed negativity. We are here to build, go out into the world, and put this technology in the hands of people around the world.
Give new opportunities to those who truly need and value them.
So we will protect this community, its values, and its members.
If you are here to contribute, to collaborate, to improve, no matter your background or experience, you will always be welcomed.
But for those who repeatedly act in bad faith, push false narratives, and work against the very goals this community shares, the message is clear and categorical: you don’t get to sabotage what others have sacrificed to create.
We’re focused on the builders, the creators, and those courageous enough to believe in a better future, just like we do.
The ones building apps, running infrastructure, solving problems, and helping others do the same. That’s the real @MultiversX.
This isn’t the first time we’ve faced this kind of hostility, and it certainly won’t be the last.
But we will prevail. By standing as real, grounded, and principled human beings.
Not by tolerating the inhumane behavior they promote in their private groups, where supposed "community members" go as far as encouraging people to “break into buildings”, and inciting similar actions that carry very serious moral and legal consequences.
Let us be clear that such instigations are criminally prosecutable by law, and as a proactive measure we have notified adequate authorities to stand by.
Several of these individuals have crossed a dangerous line, escalating from disrespect, to harassment, to purported aggression. It is genuinely heartbreaking, bewildering, and revolting to witness such behavior.
Thus, the appropriate authorities are closely monitoring them and the situation.
The only thing required for negativity to win is for good people to stay silent.
But not today. Not here. Not on MultiversX.
Thank you for being here. Thank you for building.
