@HildaObeso@Ststansberry@doctor2pi@joceperezCSUB Hi Hilda,
I also said Google translate however I didn’t even consider duolingo. It’s such a big app that it would be perfect to get ELL students plugged in with that. What a great suggestion!
@kassidy_mason2@Ststansberry@joceperezCSUB Hi kassidy,
I’ve heard really good things about Alexis. After reading your brief explanation I truly think I am going to looking further into. It sounds like a great tool that can be greatly beneficial to my future ELL students
@Ststansberry@joceperezCSUB A3) I would use & equip my students with Google translate. It would help them gain a better understanding of the English language, as they can directly see what the English word would be. Once they get this understanding then they could fully succeed. @MaddernBryan#CSUBEDTE4200
@CDpanchi@MaddernBryan @SarahCeja03 @Ststansberry Hi Daniel,
I really like how you mentioned what type of learner you are. I also am best with visuals and I think YouTube is great for this. There are many students that these videos can be a benefit too. It also would just make learning much more creative and enjoyable.
@Mari05678@MaddernBryan @SarahCeja03 @Duncannedd@csubted Hi Maria,
I wanna say how I think this is a great idea. There are so many kids who aren’t motivated to participate but I think listening to their music would help. However, I think schools fear what they would actually be doing as they can’t really monitor.
@MaddernBryan @SarahCeja03 A4) The technology tool that I wish was implemented when I was in school was Flipgrid. I love how this provides a face to face discussion without having to be face to face. It would have provided more interaction than discussion boards. @MaddernBryan#CSUBTED#CSUBEDTE4200
@gguerrero0305@tom_karnes@CsubMadelyns@Duncannedd Hi Guadalupe,
Things like this really are a struggle for students. Teachers need to start finding alternatives. Some students already struggle financial and don’t need another burden. It’s sucks that assignments have to change last minute but us as educators need to plan ahead.
@HildaObeso@tom_karnes@CsubMadelyns@doctor2pi Hi Hilda,
My experience in high school was definitely similar. Whenever we tried playing things our schools wifi went down. I don’t think they really understood how many teachers depended on it. It was common for our tech supervisor to be called to fix the issue.
@tom_karnes@CsubMadelyns A2) In high school I had to collaborate over Google docs with some peers. However we faced many struggles because some students didn’t have a laptop/computer or great wifi. The struggle was there and us as students struggled.

@mumofdeux@doctor2pi Hey Elle,
Flipgrid is mind blowing. I discovered it last year and I love it. I really enjoy how it’s interactive. Unlike a discussion board we are getting to see the person and their visual emotions. Thinks a discussion board could never do. I’m very happy you brought this up!
@LYSS_GURON@doctor2pi Hi Alyssa,
I fully agree with you. Google classroom is such a great communication device. Students are so used to technology so we need to take advantage. This is a great resource as like you said assignments and grading are all done/seen online. Great Job!
@doctor2pi A1) The technology recourse for me would have to be Kahoot. It’s a great way to get my students involved. Study guides for test can be useful but kids get bored of them easily. So this is a great way to make study fun and creative. @MaddernBryan#CSUBEDTE4200#CSUBTED
