The reason ID is banned in California (and New York) elections is to enable large-scale fraud.
When you combine no ID and mail-in voting, fraud is de facto legalized.
@Cardschatter Me too, wish you all the best as everyone seems to put in a ton of work and take pride in what they do (at least that’s the impression I get from listening). Thanks much for the quick reply!
@Cardschatter is Paul coming back to Cardinals Underground? I really miss the trio. The three of you together were the absolute best for interesting and engaging AZ Cardinals content plus the banter often had me laughing out loud. Not the same without him.
🚨 LILLY WANTS TO KILL AFFORDABLE RETATRUTIDE.
The whole story, and why you should care 👇
Right now Eli Lilly is in court fighting to reclassify retatrutide as a "biologic." If they win, the drug gets locked behind a 12-year wall and compounded reta is gone for good.
And the whole thing hinges on TWO amino acids.
Reta is a 39-amino-acid peptide. Anything over 40 gets classified as a biologic instead of a regular drug. Lilly wants 2 extra tacked-on amino acids counted so it crosses that line.
Why fight this hard over what's basically a rounding error?
🔒 Biologic = 12 years of market exclusivity vs 5 for a normal drug
🔒 Biologic = permanently ineligible for compounding (no compounded reta, ever)
🔒 Biologic = years longer before Medicare can negotiate the price, while taxpayers foot the bill
There's also a quieter motive: reta is stronger than tirzepatide (Mounjaro/Zepbound). Locking it up protects Lilly's blockbuster from getting cannibalized by its own better drug.
Two amino acids should not decide whether millions can afford treatment.

Everyone should unequivocally condemn the government-imposed racial discrimination Obama is pushing!
Obama makes three errors in one post, all of them philosophical.
First, the United States is a constitutional republic, not a democracy. The purpose of the Constitution is to protect individual rights from the majority, not to ensure "equal participation in our democracy." The Founders designed the system specifically to prevent what Obama is demanding: unlimited majority rule.
Second, "protecting the rights of minority groups against majority overreach" sounds correct until you examine the premise. Rights belong to individuals, not groups. The moment you define rights by racial group membership, you have adopted the same collectivist framework that produced the discrimination you claim to oppose. Jim Crow categorized people by race and assigned rights accordingly. Modern voting rights activism does the same thing with different beneficiaries. Both are collectivism.
Third, gerrymandering is a problem created entirely by the system Obama wants to preserve: a political structure where the drawing of district lines determines outcomes. His solution is not to fix the structure. It is to ensure his side draws the lines.
The government must treat every citizen equally before the law. Everyone should reject Obama's framing entirely. He is not defending individual rights.
He is defending group power, while using the language of rights to make collectivism sound like liberty.
@RepJeffries Hakeem Jeffries is calling the Supreme Court far right extremists because they ruled you can’t use race to gerrymander maps…
Think about that. It’s truly pathetic..
Again, he’s mad democrats political power is slipping.
I am 100% behind Devin Booker here. Last night was not a good look for our league. Let me be clear, we didn’t lose because of officiating, but that doesn’t make last night any less important. If the referees are going to demand respect from the players - as they should - then the players should demand respect from the referees. When a referee is missing calls and clearly disrespecting the players, almost mocking them, they must be held accountable. Nobody who loves this game enjoyed watching that last night. They want to see the players compete at the highest level. The league needs be far more aggressive about this kind of thing. All players and all fans deserve it.
🚨 Exposing California's corrupt "Stop Nick Shirley Act", instead of going after the fraudsters California is now going after the people exposing the fraud.
This bill AB 2624 will:
- Criminalize journalists with misdemeanors, $10,000 fines, imprisonment, and content takedown
- Let immigrant based NGOs' funding be confidential
- Take away freedom of the press from journalists
- Protect any "immigration support services" information from being public (healthcare, legal services, etc)
This bill was created by the Attorney General's WIFE Mia Bonta to stop fraud from being exposed. Please like and share this video everywhere! By trying to silence and intimidate journalists, they are trying to hide the truth from you. EXPOSE ALL THE FRAUD.
@edwardluox@imedwardluo I deleted it this morning after I saw the original post get deleted. I'll pull again and have a look. Thanks for the quick reply!
@imedwardluo Excited about this concept — love the idea of a Dynamic Island for agent status. Before installing, I ran a quick code signing check and got "code object is not signed at all" on the DMG. Any plans to notarize? Hard to recommend to others (or install on a sensitive machine) without it.
Is it possible to remotely control from another Claude Code session (or only Claude Desktop)? My scenario involves developing on my laptop while traveling (at home I have Claude Code running on a dedicated machine). During business travel, I am occasionally connected via my laptop but want to avoid disrupting everything when I close the lid to board a plane or move from a hotel to a conference room.
