@imPatrickT Top Gun: Maverick opening night IMAX was the closest it’s been to that era for me.
I remember going to see Transformers 2, buying a ticket and there not being enough seats. We stood in the back for the first 15 mins of the movie and came back the next day. Annoying yet nostalgic
New Warner Bros. Discovery service "Max" will charge $19.99 per month for 4k. But at least we'll finally get Game of Thrones, Harry Potter, The Lord of the Rings, and more in Ultra HD. #Max
@Cakes_Comics Very cool! Love how it puts Luke between the emperor and Vader. Nice visual nod to the final confrontation as he is emotionally trapped between the two. Great stuff.
@franklynforeal I would actually recommend seeing it in 3D. Cameron does 3D right. It’s not an in your face gimmick, it’s just one of the many technical aspects of the film that enhances immersion.
@DavidWCollins This moment in surround sound was awesome. One of those sounds when it comes from behind makes you want to spin around and check your 6. There was also a sound the tac droid makes that reminded me of Battlefront II. Loved it, really thoughtful sound design.
@calebpike@JordanPAnderson The orange background always stands out on my YouTube Home page. When I open YouTube I know if there’s a new video almost immediately.
@DGilfordDesign@TomCruise@Yankees@JeterGoat Wow that’s pretty cool that it was the real thing back there. Was the interior of the Empire State Building shot on a studio set then since the exterior was on location?
@DGilfordDesign@claudiomiranda9@JoeKosinski I remember watching every behind the scenes feature I could find of this movie because of how cool this set was. Such a sense of realism with the environment reflected through the glass. I remember thinking how is this not the standard yet…
