I’m super excited to share this with everyone! It’s great to have songs written for our church (@themissionhill) to be out for our church to listen to and worship at home. Also my sister crushed it on the vocals! https://t.co/rDyAgmsVBN
@taytay0991 You read that correctly. Someone literally hit the building with their truck. It was funny, because one table was really concerned as if they were going to come back for second pass at the building. Then us and another were laughing so hard.
You know that person that is constantly breaking up with people and they always blame the other person? That’s what @FSKansasCity feels like. I tried to watch with Sling then they dropped Sling. Same thing happened with YouTube TV and Hulu live. I just want to watch @SportingKC!

@allay_oop You could totally sub out “specific political ideologies” for “idolatry”. Also Jesus Feminist by Sarah Bessey, Developing Female Leaders by Kari Cole, and The Liberating Truth by Danielle Strickland are great books. The Bible is also a pretty decent feminist writing.
Matthew 16:18 “...and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”
God is on the offense, not the defense. No one can lay a finger on the King, no matter what anyone says.
Can you say it again for the people in the back? Jesus doesn’t have a party he has a kingdom...that will never end.
Kingdom>Republican Party
Kingdom>Democratic Party
P.S. Read Isaiah 58. It’s justice and you might even call it social in nature.
My usual practice for morning devotions is to read 1 book of the Bible after another. I go back & forth between OT & NT then, when all are read, I start again. Began Zechariah today. The opening gave me serious pause. I think it’s possible a similar dynamic is presently in play.
