November is #LungCancerAwarenessMonth. Burger lab was happy to participate in @OHSUKnight’s Pink and Pearl Campaign to talk to the community about #LungCancer screening and immunotherapy advancements for treatment. A simple 15 min test can catch it early and save lives!

@RonaldChenMD@UHC I’ve had some truly horrifying denials from UHC. I’ve gotten the same RadOnc peer reviewer more than once who has told me “It doesn’t matter what the evidence says. It’s not in the UHC policy. If they wanted different treatment they should have picked different insurance.”
“The biggest benefit in mortality has been #LungCancer screening and early detection.”
