Animal vs human intelligence is more like a comparing a calculator vs a universal computer.
@dominicbarberr@_prashan7h@dwarkesh_sp I don’t think that’s the case. For example, a crow using a twig as a tool to reach a bug in a crevasse is an act of problem solving.
I’d say the difference is in the scope of what problems animals can understand and address (ie not universal).
