I got the chance to talk about my conversion on the Orthodoxy in Appalachia YouTube channel. (Link below)
Orthodoxy is growing in Appalachia, my friends!
In Guatemala, a massive effort is underway to catechize the many thousands of converts to Orthodox Christianity who have joined the Church in recent years.
The seminary that trains the catechists is training huge numbers at once.
To continue that work, they need a well to provide water for all the people as well as the animals who help service life at the seminary.
If you would like to contribute to that project, you can donate here. The donations are being organized by Ss. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church in Reading, Pennsylvania, a community well-known to me through its venerable clergy.

@FRUIITLINS Fantastic! Great composition, very dynamic, great colors! Communicates who the characters are and tells a fun story in a single image. Thank you!
Christ is risen! It’s great to see so many wonderful Pascha photos after logging back in to X.
We added ten newly baptized Orthodox Christians to our rural WV parish this year, and we have around 13 more waiting in the wings.
@richardrohlin@roddreher@BohunkSupremacy We had a Five Guys in my area for a while. It must have been a poor example of the franchise because it was pretty darn mediocre.
@DougTenNapel It wasn’t “free money,” it was an investment in an artist who had delivered previously. And it paid off.
I don’t agree with all your takes, Doug, but I love your work.
@drantbradley My kids are older now, but we usually got, “You know how that happens, right?” Or if my wife was out with them w/o me she got asked, “Do they all have the same father?”
