Right now, there are two extremes with AI:

1. ​Total AI Slop
2. Refusal to use it/bare minimum use

​In between is the sweet spot where real value, progress, & success are.

​The problem?
Everyone is so busy jumping to the extremes that they're missing the actual opportunity.

I was using the Microsoft Authenticator app on my previous phone, which was recently stolen. I’ve been unable to regain access to some of my accounts, specifically GitHub and LinkedIn, because the authentication codes were stored in the Authenticator app.

After reinstalling Microsoft Authenticator on my new phone, none of my accounts were restored. Unfortunately, I did not have a backup or recovery option enabled at the time.

There is something called chain of command in the military. A soldier reports to his direct superior or immediate commanding officer. A higher-ranking officer most times would still follow that chain if he wants to give a different order.

President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces.

A minister appointed by the President outranks military officers in terms of government authority.

The Minister of Defence, Mohammed Badaru Abubakar, is a civilian but serves as the political head of the entire Defence Ministry. The Chief of Defence Staff, Gen. Christopher Musa, reports to him and, through him, to the President.

A minister is far higher than the Chief of Naval Staff (CNS), not to mention a soldier.

The FCT Minister did not speak appropriately for someone of his position, but we should not celebrate ignorance by reacting emotionally or taking sides blindly.

The soldier was doing his duty by securing the land if his superior gave that instruction, and we should applaud him for being calm and professional.

He will not listen to a civilian. He follows the order.

However, he should not exchange words in a confrontational manner with a minister.

The FCT Minister, being a senior public officer, should have restrained himself and maintained steeze and composure. Even if he was right about the illegality of the land occupation, insulting or shouting at a military officer was unnecessary and unprofessional. Soldiers are party agents.
