I've helped 4 B2B subscription services go from zero to ยฃ1 million+
- All are still in business today.
- All did it with fewer than 10 people.
- 99% of revenue via self-service @stripe payments.
The first ยฃ100K was always hardest.
The rest came from repeating what worked.
My next newsletter "The only billion-dollar company I'm comfortable depending on" is coming today. Subscribe to get it and stay in the loop on everything I'm creating.

@dhh What I don't get about you tech bros, is how on the one hand you can seem so smart in your individual businesses, and then when you turn your attention elsewhere, you can immediately appear so utterly ill-informed, factually inaccurate, naive, foolish and quite frankly dangerous.
@yarotheslav@andrewculver I've always use ngrok for that... and I love that ngrok became a Urlbox customer a couple of years ago :)
I pay for ngrok but I can't see a reason for not being able to do it on their free plan.
If costs of screenshots in dev are an issue and quality isn't Ferrum probably best.
@andrewculver@yarotheslav All good options.
Friendly reminder that https://t.co/USmcMsdniA is where many Ruby teams come when they hit the limitations of the alternatives.
Based on my feed over in the good place the only person we're now all missing is @aarondfrancis.
There is some creepy stuff going on to make up for his absence.
My most popular post there is about databases. ๐คทโโ๏ธ
The rest of you are probably fine to stay here ;)
As with everyone else departing twitter, you can find us posting a lot more regularly (by comparison!) over here: https://t.co/rizgRj1i6J
We also made a starter pack so you can follow all our speakers on bsky too ๐
