Your business can post every day and still struggle to attract customers.
Why?
Because consistency without strategy can become noise.
After Week 3 of the bootcamp hosted by @skill_afrika_ one lesson from the social media management sessions really stuck with me:
Posting every day is not a strategy.
Every piece of content should have a job.
It could be to attract attention, educate your audience, build trust, showcase your work, or encourage someone to take action.
That lesson made me rethink how I approach my own brand.
So...
Wasichana wa uwanja still dancing on TikTok to make ends meet; mtaendelea kuteseka because you have refused to smell the winds of change. Kama hujaomoka since time ya COVID, rusha hiyo ring light chini ya kitanda, mtoto wetu; itaendelea kukuletea njaa.

Now, pale YouTube, content creators are raking in millions by showcasing African culture while cooking and dressing in revealing clothes, just to show Caucasians the pathway to Singapore, but hiding the destination carefully. There is growing demand for indigenous ways worldwide, as humans have slowly become fatigued by the modernities of this age.
So, funga two-bedroom yako in Nairobi, na kama hamna shamba, talk to that gatekeeping uncle of yours akupatie section ya shamba yake near a river, and to “jump-start” you na mbuzi moja; then viungo, surely, hutashindwa kununua.
Gadeeemit!
As you leave the city, make sure to pack those sexy miniskirts, “fishnets” to capture vulnerable fishes online, crop tops na backless dera utakuwa unazungusha ugali kama umeivaa. Then, arm yourself na history ya your people, which you will be dropping strategically during your recordings, and have “fire” captions for your videos kama, “A lonely, beautiful Kikuyu woman cooks raw goat meat while facing Mt. Kenya!”
Your language should obviously be in pure English, na ukitumia lugha ya nyumbani, unaweka captions hapo chini; ni CPM ya wazungu tunakimbiza hapa my Dia! Ikiwezekana, weka proxy ikuwe ya USA, but content utakuwa unarusha directly from hapa nyumbani.

Growing up in the 90s, the society was more cohesive. Families were more united, neighbors cared about each other, friends met for simple pleasures of life and genuine reconnection. A man from the village came to the city, hustled and after getting a job, he would progressively bring friends and relatives from the village to stay with him as they hustled until they either married or were resourceful enough to fend for themselves.
Neighbors knew each other. Family reunions were genuine and everyone looked up to the festive season to finally meet up with distant relatives and have genuine reminiscence. That era is now thousands of miles behind. Friends only meet up to drink alcohol and find out who is doing better than the other. Neighbors live for years without getting to know each other. Jealously and competition for land divided families and planted irreconcilable differences. Relatives can hardly accommodate each other. Family reunions only happen when one of them is being buried. Friends and relatives no longer mention each other in rooms full of opportunities.
A person can die in the house and friends, relatives and neighbors will only find out after a month when the stench from the decomposing body become unbearable. We are only here to look for money, fake happiness for the cameras, get absorbed in the fleeting pleasures of life.....then die. Tragic!!
There is a flight from JKIA to Qatar that departs at 1: 00 AM. To whoever recommended a flight at that time, I hope your pillow is warm on both sides tonight. Arriving at the airport at night only to realize your flight departed in the morning.
This is DJ Amanda Par from Bangkok, Thailand. Initially, she was introduced to the game na her talented sister, also a “mixologist,” anaitwa DJ Mizz G marketed under the Super Vibes “Umbrella.” Sister yake alipewa akili, yeye akapewa mwili na sura; mambo ya universe.
Akianza maisha, alikuwa one of those girls who dance nyuma ya sister wake with other curvaceous models wa Thailand kushikisha mix, but looks like aliingia night shift to teach herself how to mix, and honestly, ameendelea sana. She even started her own YouTube channel, na ni kama atakosana na her pioneer sister soon juu ni kama anaenda kumshinda.
Where she sometimes comes short in transition, her beautiful body will cover that small “loophole.” She usually does her shows mostly kwa rooftop ya the picturesque ARKbar Beach Club near the beach, where you can see airplanes landing and taking off from Samui Airport in the background.
For our ladies, to have such a waist of an ant, kama hauko kwa program ya OMAD, endelea kula mandazi yako mtoto wetu, mwendo umeimaliza!
Uber to exit Nigeria after 12 years, and Uganda after 10 years. It pulled out of Tanzania in Jan., 2026, and Ivory Coast in 2025. A friend visiting Uganda once called an Uber, and it arrived with the driver’s wife or girlfriend in the front passenger seat breastfeeding a baby. You can imagine the poor fellow’s shock!!!
What are some of the strangest Uber stories you have heard in Africa?
I met Dolly Parton once backstage at a concert. She was so incredibly gracious, warm, and kind to everyone. At one point, she leaned over to me and whispered "Ruto Must Go" Eternal rest to Dolly, she was such a darling and a legend!
That's why we are less prone to doing dumb stuff. Because we know better. Also add the trauma that was the Final Destination franchise. For Kenyans, there are also the Raphael Tuju produced STD videos. So yeah.
