Exciting news! I'm pleased to announce that Yuga Labs has acquired tokenproof's technology, and part of our talented team has transitioned to Yuga Labs.

When we started tokenproof, our mission was to provide a secure way for crypto users to unlock utility of their tokens, especially IRL. I’m incredibly proud to say we achieved that mission.

Tokenproof was inspired by ApeFest 2021 at NFTNYC. At the time, there were numerous events requiring NFT ownership, but no effective infrastructure to verify ownership in the real world. That realization jump-started the idea to develop the company.

Since our launch at SXSW 2022, we’ve been fortunate to collaborate with Yuga Labs time and time again, including supporting every ApeFest since. We have always admired Yuga and how they’ve navigated the opportunities and challenges of this dynamic market, just as we have.

Thanks to our years of partnership, this transition will be seamless. I’m confident this is a fantastic outcome for everyone, and I’m excited to see our team succeed at Yuga Labs.

I want to thank @cryptogarga and the rest of the Yuga Labs team for making this possible.

I also want to thank all past and present members of the incredible tokenproof team. Thanks to all of our investors, especially @pennyjar, our lead investor, who provided incredible support since day one. It has been a privilege to have such amazing partners guiding us through our journey.

Finally, I want to thank all the tokenproof users and customers. You made this the most exciting journey of my life.

While I will not be transitioning to Yuga Labs, I am not leaving this space. I have an unwavering commitment to web3, and I'm looking forward to continuing to hang out and attending ApeFest as an ape again, not as the tokenproof guy (yeah, you can stop asking me for tickets now, mfers).

It's time we shake up the ticketing world... Unbiasedly (maybe a little biased), I think it's time we ditch ticketing platforms like Luma, Eventbrite, Partiful, etc. for web3 conferences and side events and opt for something that is both web3 native and robust enough to meet your needs @tokenproof. If you didn't already know, we have a self-serve dashboard that you can access TODAY, free of charge. Yes really, free of charge.

Here are some highlights:

1. Robust token-gating - this could be a whole blog post, but anything you can think of can pretty much be accomplished. Need to reward trait holders with a VIP ticket? Check. Need to reward top holders with special access? Check. Want to reward your top memecoin holders with a special ticket? Check. We're chain-agnostic, so let's do some memecoin parties (@solana eco)!
2. Aggregating audiences has never been easier; create tickets that your web2 and web3 communities can claim.
3. Dropping POAPs (@poapxyz) to attendees is a breeze! All you have to do is create a POAP and plug it into your event via the tokenproof Portal. When attendees are scanned into your event, have them check their wallet for a surprise.
4. The app - this is a huge pro! We can send native push notifications directly to users alerting them of changes to your event, we can highlight your event in our Discover section where EVERY. SINGLE. tokenproof user can view, and users don't have to fumble around with their email to find a ticket (one of my biggest pet peeves).
