When someone informs you of the loss of a relative or friend. Be compassionate. Show empathy & emotional attachment. Don’t just type MHSRIP. This is dry. No sympathy. No empathy. Tell them how sorry you’re. Ask what you can do for them. Tell them you will hold them in prayer. Give financial support if you can.
People say 'children need their father,' but it’s deeper than that.
A child needs a father who is safe emotionally and physically. A father who provides not just materially, but with love, patience, and stability.
A consistent presence, showing up day after day with commitment, not just obligation. A man who understands his family comes before selfish desires and excuses.
A father who chooses them, again and again not just in words, but in actions.
Because an absent or toxic father does more harm than no father at all.
Being there isn’t just about proximity it’s about presence.

If you are a young man that has saved some money & wish to invest in transport business with a hope to bring you quick money, think twice. From the start, money comes in, drivers want you to trust them & things look good. After a while, things drastically change. Repairs that never were, police clampdowns that never happened, trips that were never reported, spares reported stolen that actually never got stolen etc. The stories are long. Take measured steps before plunging in your money. Don’t get me wrong, many have benefited & I also stayed long there. The reason I am advising you against investing in this sector. Fear any sector where Indians fear to invest in.
I have been blaming boda riders for bad driving whenever I am driving in town. Now, I am on a boda and I am blaming all motor vehicle drivers for bad driving.
Kampala's housing supply consistently outpaces demand and yet the people looking for decent homes within budget remain many and underserved; we may have a market correction event on the way very soon! Or this dizzyingly complex puzzle will need explanation.
#UnpopularOpinion #761. Young people. If you’re lucky to have been born in a family that has built generational wealth, remember, wealth normally dies in 3 generations. Be a steward. Not a consumer. It’s brats that destroy generational wealth. Real men/women preserve it.
Kampala. I am done with you. I went to an apparel store & bought a shirt at 250k. I really showed off to my children this morning. My daughter challenged me to give her same amount for 3 similar new shirts. I have just been welcomed by similar shirts of different colors. Hmm
Thank you, @ntvuganda, for sharing my journey from business to politics. I remain committed to serving the people of Masaka and Uganda with dedication, integrity, and a deep sense of responsibility.
UPDATE: Former Vice President, Dr Speciosa Wandira Kazibwe explains why stakeholders have agreed to change the name of Busoga University during a consultative meeting on the proposed public university in the Busoga sub-region held in Kampala on Wednesday, April 22, 2026. Participants proposed three names: Busoga National University, Busoga Public University and Busoga International University. Busoga University was closed in 2017 over irregularities, including unqualified staff, unaccredited courses and awarding fake degrees to over 1,000 students. It was handed over to the Ministry of Education in 2018 for re-establishment as a public institution following a directive by President Museveni. In 2022, Education Minister Janet Museveni appointed a taskforce to oversee the process.
