@sovereignswifts @amandaeobrien@TSTheErasTour Scalpers usually aren’t willing to take a risk of holding them at a high price. Once an event gets close the risk of the ticket being a full loss is bigger and bigger, and they would always rather lower their profits then take a total loss
@kk14261@LovesTKandSP@Ticketmaster@taylorswift13 It’s not the same as dynamic prices. The price increases seen here do not even compare to other events that for sure had dynamic pricing turned on. Ticket prices would’ve been in the thousands had it been on. There are issues for sure but it’s not dynamic pricing
@midwest_wtf @christo90690006@Ticketmaster Yeah what If i wanted to buy tickets for someone though or if someone who doesn’t have valid ID wants to go like anyone under 16 who doesn’t have a passport?
@hloganmay@HeatherGray9 @WilLokiSwift13 @Ticketmaster Don’t worry! Resale Ticket prices always drop a lot as shows get closer because scalpers who have thousands invested into tickets to resale get scared and become more willing to sell closer to cost just to reduce their risk. And lots of people end up not being able to go!
@swiftiepeter13@Ticketmaster That is how every major show goes on ticket master. Tickets cycle in and out of carts every second. The load on servers would be thousands of times worse if they were refreshing everyone’s screen every time a fan interacted with a ticket
@labyrinthofivy@Ticketmaster Sections color in with only a few tickets being sold in them so you can’t base it off that. I did the math for both vegas shows and they are both under 5% surprisingly
@watchingdt@Amy__Duffy@Ticketmaster I mean it still could be a fan. There have beeb shows I’ve really wanted to go to, but there’s always a price that i would be willing to sell for and not go. But usually it’s a price so high it’ll never sell as this is. No one is actually selling tickets at 95k
